Blood-contacting catheters are highly susceptible to thrombus formation, making heparin coating essential for reducing clinical complications. However, the limitations of coatings have spurred significant efforts develop alternative strategies. This study demonstrates a cost-efficient, mechanically viable, and universal zwitterion approach long complex with near-zero fouling, super anticoagulation, selective biocapturing. Leveraging synergistic action side groups, wet-adhesive...
Geniposide, an iridoid glycoside, is important and characteristic compound in the fruits of Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, a commonly used medicinal herb Chinese traditional folk medicine for treatment inflammation jaundice. However, few studies have been carried out on metabolism geniposide. In this study, we established rapid sensitive method using ultra‐performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole time‐of‐flight tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC/ESI‐QTOF‐MS)...
Abstract BACKGROUND Peanut allergy is one of the most common food allergies worldwide. Studies have shown that incidence peanut in Western‐born Asians higher than Asia‐born Asians. Notably, Europeans and Americans mostly eat roasted peanuts, whereas boiled or fried peanuts. RESULTS BALB/c mice were sensitized using purified protein from raw, then fed same by oral gavage. The relevant allergic reactions studied model, including a rat basophilic leukemia (RBL) cell simulated gastric fluid...
Peanut allergy appears to be less prevalent in other parts of the world than North America and several European countries, it has been proposed difference cooking practices may responsible. In this study, boiling roasting processes were investigated find a potential method enhanced or reduce allergenicity. The allergenicity different peanut products, as reflected by changes ethology (diarrhea weight loss) pathology (splenomegaly jejunum breakage) observed, relevant serological indexes...
Abstract TiB 2 powders were successfully synthesized by a molten‐salt‐mediated carbothermal reduction method. The products obtained at 1300°C for hours hexagonal plates with side length of 3‐8 μm and thicknesses 200‐500 nm. microstructural evolution temperature confirmed that the growth was layer‐by‐layer controlled two‐dimensional nucleation. No‐uniform grains observed attached on step edges plates, which became finer disappeared during growth. This indicated layer followed surface adsorption model.
For the purpose of exploring new hard materials and doping methods, structural, mechanical electronic properties WCoB W2CoB2 ternary boride were investigated with 0, 8.33, 16.67, 25 33.33 at.% V content 5, 10, 15 20 by first-principle calculations. The cohesive energy, impurity formation energy indicate structural stability doped W2CoB2. elastic constants imply that leads to decrement shear modulus increment ductility. Two different kinds hardness models verify contributes hardness, which is...
Highly-dense TiB2 ceramic with excellent mechanical properties including Vickers hardness of 24.2 GPa and fracture toughness 7.3 MPa.m1/2 is fabricated by spark plasma sintering hexagonal plates. Compared the commercial powder, plate verified to have satisfying sinterability as well potential in promoting ceramics. The graphite boron-rich carbide formed situ at grain boundary TiB2, which has remarkable effects on stress releases crack tip enhancing resistance propagation.
Background Vesicular stomatitis (VS) is an important viral disease of livestock. The main feature VS irregular blisters that occur on the lips, tongue, oral mucosa, hoof crown and nipple. Humans can also be infected with vesicular develop meningitis. This study analyses 2014 American outbreaks in order to accurately predict outbreak trends. Methods data were collected from OIE. for keywords obtained by inputting 24 disease-related into Google Trends. After calculating Pearson Spearman...
WCoB based cermet is a potential hard alloy to replace WC-Co cermets with high hardness and corrosion resistance. different Cr doping contents were fabricated by spark plasma sintering in liquid phase stage. The densification behavior, composition, microstructure mechanical properties of doped investigated XRD, EDS SEM. Due the lower density Cr, decreased increasing content. composition consisted WCoB, unreacted W, Co–Cr binary binder phase. When content exceeded 11.736 wt%, enrichment zones...
The sintering behavior of Cu-9Al alloys prepared from die pressing elemental powders was investigated. experimental results and kinetic analysis showed the formation three consecutive layers Al2Cu, Al4Cu9, AlCu phases, with Al2Cu appearing first in initial solid phase stage. A liquid formed intermediate stage, resulting eutectic reaction between Al phases at 500 °C, which is 47 °C lower than equilibrium temperature. Swelling occurred when infiltrated gaps copper particles, leaving pores...
The lattice parameters, structural stability, mechanical properties, hardness and electronic structure of WCoB with Cr alloying were investigated by using first-principles calculations. atom was selected to replace 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 Co atoms in crystal 2 W CoB crystal. calculated cohesive energy formation enthalpy showed that all structures can retain good stability different doping content. properties will decrease the shear modulus, Young’s bulk modulus hardness, but increase ductility. larger...
The first-principles calculations are performed to investigate the structural, mechanical property, hardness, and electronic structure of WCoB with 0, 8.33, 16.67, 25, 33.33 at.% Mn doping content W2CoB2 10, 20 content. cohesive energy formation indicate that all structures can retain good structural stability. According calculated elastic constants, is responsible for increase ductility Poisson's ratio decrease Young's modulus, shear bulk modulus. By using population analysis properties,...
The WCoB ternary borides have been widely used in high pressure conditions with melting point and oxidation resistance. Cr doping contributes to ductility hardness, so the mechanical properties electronic structures of W4Co4B4 W4Co3CrB4 are explored under among 0–200 GPa. energy analysis indicates all stable below 170 Debye temperature increase increment pressure, which can be attributed covalence. Two hardness models adopted evaluate implying higher pressure. DOS PDOS study structure,...
The paper describes high cycle rotational bending fatigue (HCF) performance and fracture characteristics of 718Plus alloy at 600°C 700°C, where the relationship between maximum cyclic stress (S) cycles (N) 700°C is explored. We drew S-N curves, established mathematical model, with simulating curve function. crack initiation smooth specimens focus on surface or subsurface, concentration caused by inclusions, carbides microstructure defects, leading to tearing, inclusion main form initiation....
