In the study of palm prints, a human is generally divided into five areas: hypothenar, thenar-first-interdigital, second, third and fourth inter-digitals, in each which various configurations can be observed. These range form from whorls, loops vestiges to absence patterns, i.e. plain structures, called open fields. Whorls are patterns with two triradii, only one triradius. Vestiges, local disarrangements epidermal ridges, vary resembling true pattern approaching an field.

Abstract Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is a major lung cancer subtype. In this study, we discovered that the eukaryotic translation initiation factor EIF4A3 expression was significantly higher in LUAD tissues and closely linked to poor prognosis for LUAD. addition, demonstrated knockdown of inhibited proliferation, invasion, migration cells vitro vivo. The findings mass spectrometry analysis revealed could interact with Flotillin-1 positively regulate FLOT1 at protein level. Meanwhile,...

Non-invasive BCI is a tool with great potential in the field of brain disease diagnosis. Scalp EEG can be used to diagnose diseases mainly because electrical activity cerebral cortex has influence on EEG. The abnormality understood as activity. In this review, we review diagnostic methods epilepsy and tumors based EEG, including feature extraction classification methods. Compared diagnosis epilepsy, are relatively simple cannot accurately assessed.

The finger-prints of mental defectives have been investigated by Bonnevie (1927), Poll (1935) and M⊘ller (1935). It was found that the frequency whorls less in feeble-minded imbeciles than general population but there no correlation between intelligence quotients quantitative values patterns among defectives. Very little investigation has carried out on epidermal ridges palms except case mongoloid imbeciles, where Cummins (1939) Workman main patterns. Penrose (1949) measured angles subtended...

EEG is widely applied in motor imagery because of its non-invasive and easy access. However, multi-channel signals cause noise interference redundant information. Channel selection can reduce the noisy signal to obtain more real signals. Therefore, many studies focus on influence channel algorithms motion decoding. This paper summarizes characteristics methods for decoding imagination tasks compares their results. One way select based neural network takes as input parameter network; Another...

DARS2 expression is upregulated in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) which correlates with tumor patient stage and prognosis. The mechanism of involvement LUAD still needs to be further explored. In this study, we found that tissue was significantly higher than normal tissue. At the same time, Kaplan-Meier curve showed survival prognosis patients high worse low DARS2. detected adjacent tissues by IHC staining, histochemical scoring a generated. In addition, demonstrated knockdown overexpression...

The a-b ridge count, called the count for short, is number of epidermal ridges crossing or touching a fine straight line drawn joining triradii and b on palm. triradial point radiant when former absent not included in count. It was pointed out previous work (Fang, 1949) that assumption university students are more intelligent than general population there consistent increase mean with intelligence. results present study seem to agree this finding.
