Abstract Objective . Very high energy electrons (VHEE) in the range of 50–250 MeV are interest for treating deep-seated tumours with FLASH radiotherapy (RT). This approach offers favourable dose distributions and ability to deliver ultra-high rates (UHDR) efficiently. To make VHEE-based treatment clinically viable, a novel beam monitoring technology is explored as an alternative transmission ionisation monitor chambers, which have non-linear responses at UHDR. study introduces fibre optic...
Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) provide the highest level of clinical evidence but are often limited by cost, time, and ethical constraints. Emulating RCTs using real-world data (RWD) offers a complementary approach to evaluate treatment effect in real setting. This study aims replicate based on Mayo Clinic Platform (MCP) electronic health records (EHRs) emulation frameworks. In this study, we address two key questions: (1) whether can be feasibly replicated MCP, (2) trial produces...

A dosimetric evaluation was performed for a set of UMW electron wedges, developed at the University Miami and manufactured by MED-TEC, Inc., on Varian CL-2100 CD accelerator. These wedges were designed to generate wedged beam profiles with virtually no degradation energy. For beams ranging from 6 18 MeV, depth doses acquired various depths including photon contamination region using Wellhofer water tank 0.14 cc ion chamber. The analysis showed that changes in energy wedge filtering process...
