Abstract Objective Cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) is a chronic autoimmune disorder of the skin. Methods In this report, we describe case an African American woman with CLE who had ulcer on her posterior thigh. Despite this, initial biopsy specimen lesion revealed no evidence until repeat 5 months later. Conclusions This underscores importance considering in patients ulcers resistant to therapy and demonstrates value performing re-biopsy when results do not explain clinical presentation.

Abstract Background Artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) transform how patients inform themselves. LLMs offer potential as educational tools, but their quality depends upon the information generated. Current literature examining AI an informational tool in dermatology has been limited evaluating AI's multifaceted roles diversity of opinions. Here, we evaluate a patient‐educational for Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) out clinic utilizing international expert panel....

Imidacloprid, the most extensively utilized neonicotinoid insecticide in crop fields, is increasingly being detected drinking water sources, thereby posing significant risks to human health. Unfortunately, conventional methods for imidacloprid analysis water, such as liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), are prohibitively expensive and time-consuming, rendering them unsuitable large-scale monitoring. The study described herein explores a surface-enhanced Raman...

Psoriasis, a chronic immune-mediated skin disorder impacting millions globally, is increasingly recognized for its links to various disease processes. As our understanding of immune dysregulation in psoriasis progresses, acknowledging the pivotal role dysregulated T-cells pathogenic development persistent inflammatory state becomes crucial. This and resulting prevalent have raised concerns about potentially serving as significant comorbidity cancer among patients. To contribute this...

Commercial filter membranes have been widely used in laboratory water filtration processes without any pretreatment. However, whether they will leach organics into the membrane filtrates that can potentially interfere with subsequent analysis has long overlooked. In this study, we found filtering deionized through five typical commercial produced total organic carbon (TOC) ranging from 0.32 to 7.2 mg L–1. Scanning electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering results show are present as...
