The design, simulation and experiment of a 1-bit time-modulated (TM) module is presented in the paper. It consists two single-pole double-throw switches delay lines. time-frequency domain performance TM obtained through electromagnetic/circuit co-simulations. A low-bit amplitude-phase control module is designed for high-precision of time modulation, which consists a 1-bit attenuator and 2-bit phase shifter. The attenuation dynamic range the modulation can be improved by introducing attenuator. Simulation results show that return loss less than −15 dB, amplitude difference −0.4 dB ~ 0.4 −2.2° ~2.2° in frequency from 14.4 GHz to 16.8 GHz. Detailed will presented at conference.
