A procedure for the extraction and quantification of paraquat from enzyme digested liver hemolyzed blood is reported. Paraquat extracted as an Ion-pair with sodium dodecyl sulphate quantified by reverse phase ion-pair high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) ultraviolet (UV) detection.
