Basic amphipathic alpha-helical peptides Ac-(Leu-Ala-Arg-Leu)3 or 4-NHCH3 (4(3) 4(4)) and H-(Leu-Ala-Arg-Leu)3-(Leu-Arg-Ala-Leu)2 3-OH (4(5) 4(6)) were synthesized studied in terms of their interactions with phospholipid membranes, biological activity, ion channel-forming ability. CD study the showed that they form structures presence liposomes thus have distribution side chains along axis helix. A leakage carboxyfluorescein encapsulated vesicles indicated possess a highly potent ability to...
Abstract Preparation of highly enantioenriched six‐membered 1,4‐ N,N‐ and N,O‐ heterocycles has been developed through [4 + 2] heteroannulation α‐bromoacetates with 1,4‐binucleophiles. Two consecutive substitutions diastereoenriched L‐serinate‐derived provide convenient access to a wide range C‐aryl/aliphatic substituted up 99:1 er.
