N-doped graphene has been considered as a promising catalyst with surface metal-free active sites for environmental remediation. Several MIL-100 (Fe)-templated samples were synthesized using dicyandiamide, melamine, and urea the nitrogen precursors. Excellent catalytic oxidation of p-hydroxylbenzoic acid (PHBA) was observed on as-synthesized via peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation. The mechanism investigated by both electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR, 5,5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline N-oxide...

Abstract Carbonized polymer dots (CPDs) have received tremendous attention during the last decade due to their excellent fluorescent properties and catalytic performance. Doping CPDs with transition metal atoms accelerates local electron flow in improves performance of CPDs. However, binding sites formation mechanisms transition‐metal‐atom‐doped remain inconclusive. In this work, Mn 2+ ‐ion–doped (Mn‐CPDs) are synthesized by hydrothermal method. The ions form MnO bonds that bridge sp 2...

A novel synthetic route for preparing rasagiline mesylate is presented using a dynamic kinetic resolution (DKR) as the key step, catalyzed by Candida antarctica lipase B (CALB) and Pd nanocatalyst. The chiral intermediate (R)-2,3-dihydro-1-indanamine was obtained through DKR of racemic aminoindan rac-1 in high yield (>90%) excellent enantioselectivity (>99% ee). process could be conducted on 73 g scale at 200 g/L. Rasagiline synthesized 25% overall (99.9% ee) over 7 steps.

Gas distribution stations (GDSs), pivotal nodes in long-distance natural gas transportation networks, are susceptible to catastrophic fire and explosion accidents stemming from system failures, thereby emphasizing the urgency for robust safety measures. While previous studies have mainly focused on transmission pipelines, GDSs received less attention, existing risk assessment methodologies may limitations providing accurate reliable accident probability predictions fault diagnoses,...

Photocatalytic water splitting and purification become more important to tackle the severe energy environment challenges in modern society. In this study, carbon- nitrogen-modified ZnO photocatalysts were prepared by controlled thermal decomposition of zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF)-8. ZIF-8 carbonization a nitrogen atmosphere confined highly dispersive Zn into porous carbon, followed calcination air induced formation nanosized photocatalysts. The physicochemical properties...
