We study the dynamics of diffusion-limited cluster-cluster aggregation aqueous colloids using quasielastic light scattering. Scaling behavior is found for dependence mean cluster size on both time and initial concentration, limits are placed scaling exponents mass distribution. The fractal nature resultant clusters directly affects exponents, illustrating inherent relationship between dynamic static properties kinetic processes.
We have used small-angle neutron scattering to study surfactant interactions in an inverted micellar and a related microemulsion system. The structure-factor fits imply attractive interaction between micelles with short-ranged potential due the overlapping of hydrocarbon tails. linear increase this size accounts for critical transition observed microemulsion. This analysis is confirmed by Monte Carlo simulations.
Neutron spin-echo and small-angle neutron-scattering techniques were employed to study both the size shape fluctuations of di-2-ethylhexyl sulfosuccinate water-in-oil microemulsion system. We observe a softening bending rigidity interface with addition butanol as cosurfactant. Comparison theory implies that for simultaneous description splay saddle-splay moduli are key parameters, spontaneous curvature has little influence.

We present a neutron-scattering study of depletion interactions in mixture hard-sphere-like colloid and nonadsorbing polymer. By matching the scattering length density solvent with that polymer, we measured partial structure factor ${S}_{c}(Q)$ for colloidal particles. It is found different polymer concentrations can be well described by an effective interaction potential $U(r)$ polymer-induced attraction between The magnitude to increase linearly concentration, but it levels off at higher...
We report a neutron scattering study of depletion interactions in mixture colloid and nonadsorbing polymer. It is found that the measured colloidal structure factor can be well described by an effective interaction potential for polymer-induced attraction between particles. The amplitude to increase linearly with polymer concentration but it levels off at higher concentrations.
Polystyrene (PS)-polyisoprene (PI) diblock copolymers dissolved in n-decane aggregate into spherical micelles with a PS core and corona of tethered PI chains. The may be considered as brush on the surface sphere or outer part many-armed polymer star. thermal density fluctuations have been observed by neutron spin-echo spectroscopy. peculiar multi-decay time relaxation behavior can described remarkably well model based an idea de Gennes for treating semidilute solution varying concentration profile.

Environmentally friendly insulating gases are increasingly being explored as substitutes for SF6 due to environmental concerns. CF3SO2F gas exhibits excellent insulation and protection properties, making it an ideal substitute SF6. In electrical equipment, the is subjected prolonged exposure external electric fields. However, there has been no research conducted on microscopic effects of fields gas. this article, properties a new environmentally medium under field investigated from...
Characterized by its exceptional electrical, physical, and chemical properties, 1-phenyl-1-xylylethane (PXE) insulating oil finds extensive application in the realm of power capacitor insulation. In this study, molecular simulation is employed to investigate reactivity PXE molecules impact temperature on water diffusion behavior oil, as well solubility. The findings demonstrate a higher propensity for hydrogen atoms nucleophilic electrophilic positions within interact with molecules....
A new polysaccharide (AAP) was extracted from Auricularia auricula by water extraction and alcohol precipitation. The antioxidant activity in vitro showed that AAP had a good scavenging effect on ABTS free radicals. Then purified DEAE-52 ion exchange chromatography to obtain the component pAAP. structure analysis molecular weight (Mw) of pAAP 96.768 kDa, which composed rhamnose (Rha), arabinose (Ara), fucose (Fuc), xylose (Xyl), mannose (Man), glucose (Glu) galactose (Gal), with ratio...
Concentrated solutions of inverted micelles show highly unusual behavior in electrical conductivity and dielectric relaxation. The shows a nearly quadratic dependence micellar volume fraction; departure from this is seen at high fractions accompanied by the appearance new slow relaxation process that coexists with faster (single-particle) process. results suggest formation large scale structure aggregates.
