Backround and Study Aims: Although high rates of initial hemostasis can be achieved with endoscopic injection therapy in actively bleeding ulcers, the incidence rebleeding is not negligible. Optimal conditions for clotting may require achieving deep sustained acid inhibition to avoid deleterious effect pepsin secretions on hemostatic process. The aim this study was assess whether omeprazole could improve efficacy ranitidine as an adjunct treatment rebleeding.
Patients with Heart Failure (HF) commonly have poor quality of life (QoL), secondary to the persistence and severity HF symptoms. We aimed evaluate prognostic value QoL measures on all-cause mortality in patients from Colombian registry heart failure (RECOLFACA).
