We present the case of a 35-year-old patient without pathological history who developed hemopneumothorax due to altitude barotrauma during commercial airline flight. The computed tomography chest identified presence emphysema "blebs" and bubbles, histopathological examination lung fragment obtained diagnostic therapeutic thoracoscopy elements suggestive for diagnosis respiratory bronchiolitis associated with desquamative interstitial pneumonia (DIP).
