We investigated electrical properties of transparent amorphous indium gallium zinc oxide (a-IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) with (a-IZO) electrodes on a flexble thin glass substrate. The TFTs show high field-effect mobility, good subthreshold slope and on/off ratio owing to the temperature thermal annealing process which cannot be applied typical polymer-based flexible substrates. Bias stress instability tests applying tensile concurrently bending radius up 40 mm indicated that...
To develop a thermostatic fabric, 100% polyester fabric is treated with octadecane- containing microcapsules by knife-over-roll coating process. The amount of heat content increases as the concentration increases. and it decreases temper ature time increase. surfactant treatment at given microcapsule fabrics about 56-94%. durability coated lasts for ten launderings. becomes stiffer less smooth, soft, full than untreated shown KES measurements. Wear trials garments in conditioned environment...
Macrophages are pivotal effector cells in the innate immune system. When microbial products bind to pathogen recognition receptors, macrophages activated and release a broad array of mediators, such as cytokines, that orchestrate inflammatory responses host. Phosphatidic acid (PA) has been implicated an important metabolite phospholipid biosynthesis membrane remodeling further suggested be crucial second messenger various cellular signaling events. Here we show PA is essential regulator...
ABSTRACT This study identified specific and avid RNA aptamers consisting of 2′-hydroxyl- or 2′-fluoropyrimidines against hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5B replicase, an enzyme that is essential for HCV replication. These acted as potent decoys to competitively impede replicase-catalyzed synthesis activity. Cytoplasmic expression the 2′-hydroxyl aptamer efficiently inhibited replicon replication in human liver cells through interaction with, sequestration of, target protein without either...
Although hepatitis C virus (HCV) causes worldwide health problems, efficient and specific therapy is not available so far. In this study, we describe a new genetic approach to the HCV that based upon trans-splicing ribozymes can selectively replace transcripts with RNA exerts anti-HCV activity. We have developed group I intron-based ribozyme targeting internal ribosome entry site (IRES) of high fidelity specificity. The was designed trans-splice its 3' tagging sequence comprising coding RNA,...
Hepatitis C virus (HCV)-encoded nonstructural protein 3 (NS3) possesses protease, NTPase, and helicase activities, which are considered essential for viral proliferation. Thus, HCV NS3 is a good putative therapeutic target the development of anti-HCV agents. In this study, we isolated specific RNA aptamers to domain from combinatorial library with 40-nucleotide random sequences using in vitro selection techniques. The RNAs were observed very avidly bind an apparent K d 990 pM contrast...
Abstract The induction of inducible NO synthase (iNOS) by group IIA phospholipase A2 (PLA2) involves the stimulation a novel signaling cascade. In this study, we demonstrate that PLA2 up-regulates expression iNOS through pathway includes M-type secretory receptor (sPLA2R), phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K), and Akt. Group stimulated promoted nitrite production in dose- time-dependent manner Raw264.7 cells. Upon treating with PLA2, Akt is phosphorylated PI3K-dependent manner. Pretreatment...
Cervical cancer screening with the conventional Papanicolaou test is recommended for women aged 30 years and more in Korea. infection human papillomavirus (HPV) most important cause of cervical Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) common bacterial sexually transmitted may also be associated risk cancer. A cross-sectional study attending National Cancer Screening Program Busan Suwon was carried out. Exfoliated cells were collected, questionnaires administered to 4595 women. High-risk HPV types CT...
We studied the bias stress instability of amorphous In–Ga–Zn–O (a-IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) by varying active layer thickness (t) from 6 to 100 nm. found that stretched exponential relationship between threshold voltage shift and time can be explained oxygen dispersive diffusion which is absorbed near back channel region during an annealing process in layer. For a-IGZO TFT with t=6 nm, direct exposure ambient greatly increases induces hump like characteristics, indicating creation...
We present photonics technology based on a bulk-Si substrate for cost-sensitive dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) optical interface application. summarize the progress passive and active photonic devices using local-crystallized Si waveguide fabricated by solid phase epitaxy or laser-induced epitaxial growth substrate. The process of integration integrated circuit (IC) with an electronic IC is demonstrated 65 nm DRAM periphery 300 mm wafers to prove possibility seamless various...
The importance of a high-quality dataset availability in 3D human action analysis research cannot be overstated. This paper introduces DGU-HAO (Human Action with daily life Objects). novel multi-modality encompasses four distinct data modalities accompanied by annotation data, including motion capture RGB video image and object modeling data. It features 63 classes involving interactions 60 common furniture electronic devices. Each class comprises approximately 1, 000 representing skeleton...
Abstract The effect of secretory group II phospholipase A2 (sPLA2) on the expression inducible NO synthase (iNOS) and production by macrophages was investigated. sPLA2 itself barely stimulated nitrite iNOS in Raw264.7 cells. However, combination with LPS, effects were synergistic. This potentiation shown for enzymes from sPLA2-transfected stable cells or purified human synovial fluid. PLA2 induction appears to be specific type PLA2. LPS-stimulated activation inhibited well-known selective...
We demonstrate high operating voltage transparent thin-film transistors (HVTTFTs) using amorphous InGaZnO (a-IGZO) active layers by introducing a resistance bulk region in the source/drain electrodes. The HVTTFTs are operated at above VDS = 100 V with on/off current ratio and good subthreshold slope. electrical characteristics of were dominantly affected Schottky contact for small off-set length, large indicating that optimization length is key factor to realize performance HVTTFTs.
Phospholipase A2 (PLA2) regulates eicosanoid and platelet-activating factor production. It also plays an important role in the regulation of critical mediators inflammatory diseases which PLA2 activity is significantly enhanced during sepsis multiple organ failure. Therefore, inhibitors offer themselves as target substances development anti-inflammatory drugs. We identified 2 biflavonoids, bilobetin ginkgetin, that can inhibit activity. In experiments using 2-linol-[1-14C]PE substrate both...
It is well known that nitric oxide (NO) acts downstream of NMDA receptor activation, which regulates the neural plasticity in brain. In present study, effect L-NAME, a non-selective synthase (NOS) inhibitor, on hippocampus was investigated. L-NAME increased expression PSA-NCAM and pCREB adult rat hippocampus. The co-localization indicates possible relationship between two granule cell layer dentate gyrus. Our results demonstrate NO, as subsignal receptors, could be involved structural gyrus...
