Abstract X‐ray microdensitometry on annually resolved tree‐ring samples has gained an exceptional position in last‐millennium paleoclimatology through the maximum latewood density (MXD) parameter, but also increasingly other parameters. For 50 years, based measurement techniques have been de facto standard. However, studies report offsets mean levels for MXD measurements derived from different laboratories, indicating challenges of accuracy and precision. Moreover, reflected visible...

Parental involvement in homework is a crucial aspect of family education, but it often leads to emotional strain and conflicts that can severely impact well-being. This paper presents findings from 4-week situ study involving 78 families China, where we collected analyzed 602 valid audio recordings (totalling 475 hours) daily surveys. Leveraging large language models (LLMs) analyze parent-child conversations, gained nuanced understanding behavioural dynamics overcomes the limitations...

In this study, we report the results of a large-scale survey study on business strategy and innovations conducted in China November 2002. We focus impact environmental complexity choice management control systems effects product development process decisions. Our findings provide some valuable insights to strategic change. When pressure for change comes from external environment, approach is usually chosen cope with complexity. Strategic focuses benchmarking firm's operational decisions that...

ABSTRACT Rapid urbanization leads to degradations upon water quality via eutrophication and pollution, but there are a lack of studies on patterns change by level or process. China has achieved the most rapid in world within past three decades, its urban development is diverse at level. Nine towns cities various levels along historic Grand Canal (approximately 1500 years old) were selected reveal direct linkages between surface extent urbanization. Surface sections was impaired both...

Abstract DNA typing for human leukocyte antigen (HLA)‐A, ‐B and ‐DRB1 was performed using polymerase chain reaction–sequence‐based method on 618 randomly selected healthy individuals of the Han population in Northern China. Allele frequencies haplotypes were statistically analyzed. A total 84 HLA‐A alleles, 143 B 122 DRB1 alleles detected, 853 A‐B‐DRB1 haplotypes, 473 A‐B 551 B‐DRB1 inferred. Statistical analysis three‐locus showed that A*0207‐B*4601‐DRB1*0901 (3.06%) most predominant. Gene...

Abstract. We utilised tree-ring cores, collected from three sites at Lingkong Mountain located in the southeast part of Chinese Loess Plateau (CLP), to develope a regional ring-width chronology. Significant positive correlations between index and monthly Palmer drought severity (PDSI) were identified, indicating that radial growth trees this region was moisture-limited. The March–August mean PDSI quantitatively reconstructed 1703 2008 with an explained variance 46.4%. Seven dry periods...

Abstract Direct borohydride fuel cell (DBFC) is one of the most exciting energy technologies that solve hydrogen storage and safety issues by using aqueous solution KBH 4 or NaBH . Here, we present a membraneless DBFC with perovskite‐type oxide LaNiO 3 /C‐catalysed cathode. A significant finding from electrochemical experiments it obviously shows existence $ {\rm BH}_4^- ions has almost no negative influence on discharge performances ‐catalysed Therefore, designed without an ion exchange...

This study proposes a robust affine iterative closest point (ICP) algorithm based on bidirectional distance for the registration of m-dimensional (m-D) sets. Since problem can be formulated as least square (LS) by incorporating an transformation, this first analyses ill-posed and turn it into well-posed one introducing LS formulation. Then, corresponding ICP is proposed to solve problem. By using distance, directly estimate transformation converge monotonically local minimum from any given...
