Zhoukoudian is widely regarded as having the oldest reliable evidence for controlled use of fire by humans. A reexamination in Layer 10, earliest archaeological horizon site, shows that burned and unburned bones are present same layer with stone tools. However, no ash or charcoal remnants could be detected. Hence, although indirect burning present, there direct situ burning.

Janus hydrogels have promising applications in tendon healing and anti-peritendinous adhesions. However, their complicated preparation methods, weak mechanical properties, unstable adhesion interfaces severely limited application suture-free high-quality healing. In this work, by controlling the interfacial distribution of free -COOH groups cationic-π structures on both sides hydrogels, a series PZBA-EGCG-ALC with varying degrees asymmetric properties are successfully prepared using simple...

Fossils of the giant panda Ailuropoda (Order Carnivora, Family Ursidae) are largely isolated teeth, mandibles, and a few rare skulls, known from late Pliocene to Pleistocene in China Southeast Asia. Much this material represents chronospecies, baconi, an animal larger than living panda, melanoleuca. The earliest certain record is microta, smaller either A. baconi or melanoleuca, previously only teeth mandibles karst caves south China. Here, we report discovery first skull establishing its...

Abstract High thermal conductive polymeric composites are extremely desired for the management of electronic devices due to rapid development modern microelectronic industry. Herein, functionalized boron nitride (BN) and magnesium oxide (MgO) hybrid fillers (f‐BN@f‐MgO) were synthesized used prepare enhanced epoxy (EP) through hot‐pressing method. The results demonstrated that covalent binding BN MgO in reduced interface resistance effectively between matrix induced force facilitated...

Abstract In this paper, we revisit the kinematical state of our Universe via cosmographic approach by using Gaussian process, where minimum assumption is cosmological principle, i.e. Friedmann–Lemaître–Robertson–Walker metric. A obviously distinguished feature that these cosmography parameters are free any gravity theories and models. And process independent specific parameterized forms function. Thus transformations generic can be used to constrain a model dark energy directly at kinematics...

We introduce the lensing reconstruction algorithm and corresponding pipeline construction of third generation ground-based small aperture cosmic microwave background (CMB) experiment. assume a characteristic simplified telescope model, namely 3600 degree square sky coverage, media noise level ($\sim$10 $\mu$K.arcmin) angular resolution (beam size 10 arcmin). adopt technically mature quadratic estimator study ability T-only, P-only, minimal-variance estimator. Using framework estimators, we...

Abstract Ammonium perchlorate (AP) is a common oxidizer and accounts for over 60 wt% in composite solid propellants (CSPs). Ferrocene (Fc)‐based compounds have become one of the most widely used burning rate catalysts (BRCs) AP decomposition due to their outstanding catalytic effect. To improve anti‐migration ability Fc‐based during long‐time storage, seven Schiff base derivatives were synthesized. Their molecular structures characterized by UV‐Vis, FT‐IR, 1 H NMR, 19 F ESI‐MS EA. Meanwhile,...

AliCPT-1 is the first Chinese CMB experiment aiming for high precision measurement of Cosmic Microwave Background B-mode polarization. The telescope, currently under deployment in Tibet, will observe two frequency bands centered at 90 and 150 GHz. We forecast lensing reconstruction, lensing-galaxy as well lensing-CIB (Cosmic Infrared Background) cross correlation signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) AliCPT-1. consider stages with different integrated observation time, namely "4 module*yr" (first...
