A Gram-positive-staining, spherical-shaped and faintly pink-pigmented bacterial strain, X-82T, was isolated from soil samples collected a desert in Xinjiang, China. The organism found to be resistant UV radiation but sensitive gamma desiccation. optimum growth pH, NaCl concentration temperature were pH 7.0, 0–1 % 30 °C. Phylogenetic analysis based on the 16S rRNA gene sequence indicated that strain X-82T is member of novel species belonging genus Deinococcus, with Deinococcus hopiensis...
Strain XM-003T was isolated from a soil sample that originated the Ximo region in Tibet. Cells of strain were Gram-negative-staining, non-motile, irregular-shaped rods and grew optimally at 28 °C pH 5–8. It contained MK-7 as major isoprenoid quinone iso-C15 : 0 C16 1 ω7c and/or 2-OH fatty acids. Flexirubin-type pigments absent. The DNA G+C content 43.4 mol%. 16S rRNA gene sequence this showed highest similarity 96.0 % to Mucilaginibacter kameinonensis SCKT. A number physiological biochemical...
Strain 10-1-101T, isolated from a sand sample collected the desert of Xinjiang, China, was Gram-negative, aerobic, motile, rod-shaped bacterium. Colonies grown on 0.1× trypticase soy broth agar were circular, convex and light-pink-coloured. The major cellular fatty acids novel strain C18 : 1 ω7c (72.71 %) C16 0 (7.05 %). DNA G+C content 10-1-101T 68.8 mol% Q-10 respiratory quinone. 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis indicated that related to type strains genus Skermanella, with similarity...
Avian pathogenic E. coli (APEC), produces an extraintestinal infection in chickens, turkeys, and other types of birds, called colibacillosis, which is considered one the main causes economic losses due to morbidity, mortality, discard poultry carcasses. The objective present study was characterize genetic profile virulence factors different isolates avian Caloto, Cauca, Colombia. Materials methods: isolated identified by biochemical tests, from 47 clinical isolates. Subsequently, DNA...
