Polymer-based solid electrolytes containing ceramic nanoparticles are attractive alternatives to liquid for high-energy density Li batteries. In this study, three different types of fillers have been dispersed in poly(ethylene) oxide (PEO) polymer matrices, and the effects on resulting ionic conductivity nanocomposites examined. respect, efficacy one active, liquid-feed flame spray pyrolysis synthesized amorphous Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 (LATP), two passive filler materials, TiO2 fumed silica...

Excellent enantioselectivities and reactivities were observed in the hydrogenation of a variety methyl (Z)-β-aryl-β-(acetylamino)acrylates presence rhodium catalyst with chiral ligand binapine (see scheme). This bisbinaphthophosphepine has stereogenic phosphorus centers shows promise as powerful for application synthesis β-aryl-β-amino acids by asymmetric hydrogenation.

A new class of chiral phospholane–oxazoline ligands P* was developed for Ir-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation (see scheme, e.g. R=Ph; Ar=m-CH3C6H4). High enantioselectivities (up to 99 % ee) were obtained the methylstilbene derivatives and (E)-β-methylcinnamic esters. Abstract In this article, nano‐zinc oxide (ZnO) filled ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) composites are prepared, and the mechanical (static dynamic) properties thermal conductivity investigated respectively, which further compared with traditional reinforcing fillers, such as carbon black nano‐silica. Furthermore, influence of in‐situ modification (mixing operation assisted by silane at high temperature for a certain time) silane‐coupling agent Bis‐(3‐thiethoxy...

Develops a linear programming model for integrated production planning based on the practice of major Canadian steel making company. Considers entire activity in company as an process involving number closely related sub‐functions, such raw material purchasing, semi‐finished product purchasing and production, capacity allocation, well finished distribution. The mathematical takes into account costs, throughput rates, customer demands, sales prices facility capacities optimal planning....

P-Stereogenic phosphonothioates and phosphonoselenoates were readily prepared utilizing RP-menthyl phenylphosphite 1 by two methods. The first method used elemental sulfur or selenium to react with 1, followed alkylation of the intermediates alkyl halides. second disulfide diselenide. Both methods stereospecifically produced title compounds in nearly quantitative yields under mild conditions. Stereospecific chalcogenation phosphoryl was proposed as key step these reactions.

The urgent need for high-performance solid electrolytes has aroused considerable focus on NASICON ceramics. Optimization of processing routes to dense, defect-free materials yet receive sufficient attention date. Although traditional solid-state reaction methods followed by repetitive ball milling and sintering up 10 h above 1200 °C are common place, the resulting average particle sizes usually too large produce robust structures because excessive grain growth.
