Chromatographic separation of a methanol extract prepared from the whole plant Dendrobium brymerianum led to isolation eight phenolic compounds. Among isolated compounds ( 1 – 8 ), moscatilin gigantol 3 lusianthridin 4 and dendroflorin 6 ) showed appreciable cytotoxicity against human lung cancer cell lines with IC 50 values 196.7, 23.4, 65.0, 125.8 μ g/mL, respectively, exhibited antimigratory property at nontoxic concentrations. Phytochemical investigation of the whole plant Dendrobium scabrilingue resulted in isolation two new compounds namely dendroscabrols A (1) and B (2), along with eight known (3–10).
