<p>The Chang’e-5 (CE-5) mission, the first return of lunar samples to Earth since Apollo and Luna missions more than 44 years ago, landed on one youngest mare basalt units (1.0-3.0 Ga, based superposed crater counts), located at middle latitude (~43°N) far from previous landing sites. On December 17, 2020, sample capsule returned with 1731 grams soil collected upper few centimeters surface an ~1 meter-long core drilled into regolith. This paper summarizes main discoveries CE-5...
We present the {\it Solar Dynamics Observatory} (SDO) Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) observations of EUV cyclones in quiet Sun. These are rooted Rotating Network magnetic Fields (RNFs). Such can last several to more than ten hours, and, at later phase, they found be associated with brightenings (microflares) and even waves. SDO Helioseismic Magnetic Imager (HMI) show an ubiquitous presence RNFs. Using HMI line-of-sight magnetograms on 2010 July 8, we find 388 RNFs area 800$\times$980...
Abstract As one of the three payloads for Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory (ASO-S) mission, Lyman-alpha (Ly α ) Telescope (LST) is composed instruments: a Corona Imager (SCI), Ly Disk (SDI) and full-disk White-light (WST). When working in-orbit, LST will simultaneously perform high-resolution imaging observations all regions from solar disk to inner corona up 2.5 R ⊙ (R stands mean radius) with spatial resolution 4.8″ 1.2″ coronal observations, respectively, temporal 30 – 120 s 1...
Electrohydraulic pulsed discharge has been widely adopted in the industrial field over decades. The proper description of plasma channel and induced shock wave contributes to development technology. Experiments were carried out under different voltages conductivities. optical pictures captured using a high-speed camera. radii calculated cylindrical approximation spherical approximation, respectively. results calculation have verified by comparing measured radii. intensity can be properly...
The simulation of electrohydraulic shockwaves is the key technology for their application and device design. analytical approach underwater pulsed discharge described using dimensionless analysis method, which combines energy based hydrodynamic equations electrical differential equation describing characteristics circuit. A constant plasma channel impedance model on experimental results an improved time-varying Braginskii are proposed presented. has a great influence deposited into then...
Abstract The Forbush decrease (FD) represents the rapid of intensities charged particles accompanied with coronal mass ejections or high-speed streams from holes. It has been mainly explored ground-based neutron monitor network, which indirectly measures integrated all species cosmic rays by counting secondary neutrons produced interaction between atmospheric atoms and rays. space-based experiments can resolve but energy ranges are limited relatively small acceptances except for most...
We present the measurement‐based MHD simulation model of interplanetary disturbances; quiet solar wind is obtained with MHD‐based analysis method for radio scintillation (IPS) measurement data, and disturbance parameters, such as speed, direction angular size expanding coronal mass ejection (CME), are determined from SOHO LASCO/C3 data Cone‐model. chose two successive disturbances resulting flare‐associated halo CMEs April 2002. The simulated shocks compared nearby‐Earth measurement, well...
Mixers play a crucial role in superconducting quantum computing, primarily by facilitating frequency conversion of signals to enable precise control and readout states. However, imperfections, particularly local oscillator leakage unwanted sideband signal, can significantly compromise fidelity. To mitigate these defects, regular mixer calibrations are indispensable, yet they pose formidable challenge large-scale control. Here, we introduce an situ scalable calibration scheme using qubits....
Abstract The heliospheric current sheet (HCS) is an important structure not only for understanding the physics of interplanetary space but also weather prediction. We investigate differences HCS arrival time between three spacecraft separated in heliolongitude, heliolatitude and radial distance from Sun (STEREO A, STEREO B, ACE) to understand key factors controlling propagation. By assuming that source solar wind does evolve except effects rotation, we first test first‐order approach method...
Solar wind dynamic pressure, consisting solar density&#160;and velocity, is an important external driver that controls Martian plasma environment. In this study, a 3D magnetohydrodynamic model applied to investigate the separate influences of density and velocity on ionosphere. The spatial distributions ions in dayside near nightside ionosphere under different conditions&#160;are analyzed, as well ion transport process. We find for same pressure condition, extends higher altitudes...
The fundamental concept underlying topological phenomena posits the geometric phase associated with eigenstates. In contrast to this prevailing notion, theoretical studies on time-varying Hamiltonians allow for a new type of phenomenon, known as dynamics, where evolution process allows hidden invariant continuous flows. To validate conjecture, we study chiral and nonreciprocal dynamics by encircling exceptional points (EPs) non-Hermitian in trapped ion system. These are topologically robust...

We experimentally investigated total ionizing dose (TID) response of the input-stage PNP transitor in an operational amplifier LM324N with various initial displacement damage (IDD). found that, first decreases and then increases dose, which can be exactly described by a dose-rate-dependent linear generation term, IDD-dependent annealing exponential term. demonstrate two terms are well-known TID injection effect, respectively, while third term stems from reactions between TID-induced protons...
In this analysis, we measure the time-dependence of primary cosmic ray electron and positron (CRE) fluxes using over 3 years data from Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE). The monthly CRE show clear variabilities due to solar modulation effect. We also investigate short-term structures in September, 2017 when an X level flare event occurred. Energy-dependent Forbush descreases have been observed. decrease amplitude recovery time depend on energies, which may interesting implication...
