Cancer immunotherapy has been regarded as a promising strategy for cancer therapy by blocking immune checkpoints and evoking immunity to fight cancer, but its efficacy seems be heterogeneous among patients. Manipulating the gut microbiota is potential enhancing of immunotherapy. Here, we report that MS-20, also known "Symbiota®", postbiotic comprises abundant microbial metabolites generated from soybean-based medium fermented with multiple strains probiotics yeast, inhibited colon lung...

QC (glutaminyl cyclase) catalyses the formation of N-terminal pGlu (pyroglutamate) in peptides and proteins. chemoattractants may participate regulation macrophage activation migration. However, a clear molecular mechanism for is lacking. The present study examines role QC-mediated on MCPs (monocyte chemoattractant proteins) inflammation. We demonstrated vitro by using MS. A potent inhibitor, PBD150, significantly reduced uncyclized-MCP-stimulated monocyte migration, whereas pGlu-containing...

Linker design is crucial to the success of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). In this work, we developed a modular linker format for attaching molecular cargos antibodies based on strand pairing between complementary oligonucleotides. We prepared antibody–oligonucleotide (AOCs) by 18-mer oligonucleotides an anti-HER2 antibody through thiol-maleimide chemistry, method generally applicable any immunoglobulin with interchain disulfide bridges. The hybridization drug-bearing our AOCs was rapid,...

The canine anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) monoclonal antibody is a potential therapeutic option for treating arthritis. current treatments arthritis in dogs have limitations due to side effects, emphasizing the need safer and more effective therapies. crystal structure of TNF-α (cTNF-α) was successfully determined at resolution 1.85 Å, protein shown assemble as trimer, with high similarity functional quaternary human (hTNF-α). Adalimumab (Humira), known inhibitor, effectively...

Abstract Ezrin is reported to be essential for Fas-induced apoptosis. Here we showed that ezrin interacts with Fas, yet knockdown of increased Fas- and TRAIL-induced apoptosis in type I T cells like H9. Expression the dominant negative form also led TRAIL-triggered cell death H9 cells. Similarly, downregulation normal human lymphocytes resulted elevated Fas-stimulated death. In contrast, II cells, including Jurkat CEM did not affect an accelerated caspase-8 activation enhanced caspase-3...
