Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) outbreaks recently affected 2 countries (Japan and South Korea) in eastern Asia that were free of FMD without vaccination. Analysis viral protein 1 nucleotide sequences indicated serotype A O viruses caused these originated mainland Southeast to which are endemic.

Abstract Foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) is a highly contagious and genetically variable virus. Sporadic introductions of this into FMD-free countries may cause outbreaks with devastating consequences. In 2010 2011, incursions the FMDV O/SEA/Mya-98 strain, normally restricted to in mainland Southeast Asia, caused extensive across East Asia. study, 12 full genome sequences for representative samples collected from People’s Republic China (PR China) including Hong Kong Special...

Introduction . The new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) agent SARS-CoV-2 has become widespread in the world and caused pandemic that started 2019. virus is a zooanthroponotic infectious causes humans as well many mammal species. To date, been reported both domestic wild animals. Moreover, successful experimental of certain animal species was during studies. There also evidence infected animals can transmit to other natural settings through contactincluding transmission between different...

Phylogenetic analyses of foot-and-mouth disease type A viruses in the Middle East during 2015-2016 identified belonging to A/ASIA/G-VII lineage, which originated Indian subcontinent. Changes a critical antigenic site within capsid viral protein 1 suggest possible evolutionary pressure caused by an intensive vaccination program.

Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) has long been recognized as a highly contagious, transboundary of livestock incurring substantial losses and burdens to animal production trade across Africa, the Middle East, Asia. Due recent emergence O/ME-SA/Ind-2001 lineage globally contributing expansion FMD, molecular epidemiological investigations help in tracing evolution foot-and-mouth virus (FMDV) endemic newly affected regions. In this work, our phylogenetic analysis reveals that FMDV incursions...

Method for determination of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) virus 146S component concentration with real-time reverse transcription – polymerase chain reaction (rtRT-PCR) in vaccine raw materials is developed. Negative regression model С = (30.269 C t )/4.155 type allowing FMDV particle concentrations based on the amplification threshold cycle values (C ) proposed. It has been experimentally proven that quantity determined by RT-PCR method using developed and contained inoculation dose FMD...

In Russia the preventive vaccination dominates over other protective and measures against foot mouth disease (FMD).However, development of subclinical infection in immune animals should not be ruled out as these become virus carriers pose a potential threat for susceptible animal population. Therefore, design reduction to practice tests identification virus-carrier continues relevant.Secretory immunoglobulins A (sIgA) provide first line protection many infectious agents, they are capable...
