Gryon Haliday (Platygastroidea: Scelionidae) is a cosmopolitan genus of egg-parasitoid wasps primarily associated with Heteroptera.Gryon ancinla Kozlov & Lê reported for the first time outside Vietnam, in China and Cambodia, as an egg parasitoid pestiferous leaf-footed bug, Acanthocoris scaber (L.). redescribed based on recently collected specimens compared to closely related species region. clavaerus treated junior synonym some characters found charon group are discussed.

Trissolcus Ashmead (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae) is a cosmopolitan genus of egg-parasitoid wasps associated with stink bugs (Pentatomidae, Scutelleridae, Urostylididae), many which are important insect pests. Documentation host associations for these wasps, we here provide via museum specimens, can support their use as biological control agents invasive bugs. The hosts seven species reported from China: cultratus (Mayr) (hosts: Hippotiscus dorsalis Stål, Pentatomidae; Urochela luteovaria...

Abstract The superfamily Platygastroidea (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupomorpha) is a diverse group of parasitoid wasps that are parasitoids nine orders insects as well spiders. They appear to show clear pattern host specificity among genera. A robust phylogeny essential for devising stable and informative classification understanding the shifts parasitize new groups. We conducted phylogenetic analyses based on four molecular markers ( 18S , 28S COI wingless ) 119 morphological characters,...

The genus Phanuromyia in the subfamily Telenominae (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae) consists of 60 described species, for which host records indicate they are egg parasitoids lanternflies and planthoppers (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha). In this study, we describe a new species genus, P. ricaniae sp. n., reared from eggs planthopper, Ricania shantungensis Chou & Lu Ricaniidae). This planthopper has been considered as serious invasive pest South Korean agriculture. wide range, including...

The fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda , is a lepidopteran pest that feeds on many economically important cereal crops such as corn, rice, sorghum, and sugarcane. Native to the Americas, it has become serious invasive in Africa Asia. Recently, this was found China spread quickly across country. As S. will most likely major China, Integrated Pest Management strategies, including biological control methods, should be developed manage its populations. Here, we report detection of Telenomus...

This study concentrated on presenting the classical Johnson-Cook model by introducing a new temperature term, under framework of an equivalence between heat energy and distortional strain energy. Importantly, inner relationship among temperature, elastic modulus, specific capacity at constant pressure, Poisson's ratio was established quantitatively. What nicest character this term had that there were no fitting parameters, which made be applicable when lower than reference temperature. Thus,...

Electrosorption is a promising method to extract lithium from wastewater/brine with low energy consumption and environmentally friendly. In this work, rocking chair electrode system of LiMn2O4/Li1–xMn2O4 was developed for the efficient extraction lithium-containing solution different impurity ions. A new concept "selective concentration polarization" proposed explain effect cations on process. It showed depletion zone Li+ enrichment same side film simultaneously, which hindered...

Three membrane distillation (MD) configurations, vacuum (VMD), sweeping gas (SGMD) and direct contact (DCMD), have been experimentally studied in a shell-and-tube capillary module using sodium chloride aqueous solutions as feed. The flux, fresh water conductivity desalination rate were compared. Preliminary experiments by VMD carried out seawater with the same salinity influences of operating parameters: flow rate, feed temperature, concentration, permeate vacuum, investigated. saline...

The brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stål) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae), is native to northeast Asia. It was accidentally introduced Europe and North America, where it has become a key pest, feeding on many important crops. Previous eco-climatic niche modelling indicates that H. could expand its distribution vastly, numerous border interceptions of this pest in countries, including Australia New Zealand, indicate would be prudent prepare for eventual arrival.
