Lateral flow immunoassays (LFIAs) have drawn much attention in point-of-care diagnostic applications, and the development of high-performance label materials is key. In this study, impact surface chemistry dendritic mesoporous silica nanoparticles (DMSNs) on their enrichment performance toward quantum dots (QDs) signal amplification resultant DMSNs-QDs as been investigated. A series DMSNs with controllable amino/thiol group densities synthesized. It demonstrated that amino groups are...

A series of alkylpyrimidine-4,6-diol derivatives were designed and synthesized as novel GRP84 agonists based on a high-throughput screening (HTS) hit 1. 6-Nonylpyridine-2,4-diol was identified the most potent agonist GPR84 reported so far, with an EC50 0.189 nM. These will provide valuable tools for study physiological functions GPR84.

Abstract Aluminum‐containing adjuvants used in vaccine formulations suffer from low cellular immunity, severe aggregation, and accumulation the brain. Conventional aluminosilicates widely chemical industry focus mainly on acidic sites for catalytic applications, but they are rarely as adjuvants. Reported here is an innovative “ligand‐assisted steric hindrance” strategy to create a high density of six‐coordinate VI Al−OH groups with basicity dendritic mesoporous silica nanoparticles new...

Abstract The effects of organic cosolvents on the synthesis ampicillin from phenylglycine methyl ester (PGME) and 6‐amino penicillanic acid (6‐APA) using immobilized Bacillus megaterium penicillin G acylase have been examined. Several were tested for their influence enzyme in terms stability hydrophobicity. Among tested, ethylene glycol was found to increase yield by 39–50%. p K a PGME, hydrolysis synthetase/amidase esterase/amidase ratios also studied. Experimental data indicated that...

Membrane plays significant role in cellular enzymatic reactions. To better understand its function on membrane integral or bound enzymes, DNA origami and frame-guided assembly strategy are combined to construct a given-size, addressable enzyme-containing nanomembrane as heterogeneous reactor explore the catalyst reaction membrane. The enzymes located precisely. This new kind of can enrich hydrophobic substrate molecules aqueous solution embedded enzymes. Otherwise, this shows capability...

Cellulases played an important role in the production of bioenergy and bio-products. from bacteria with some special characteristics drew great attention due to its fast growth speed, wide adaption harsh environment, multi-function cellulases. An endoglucanase gene egls Bacillus velezensis A4 was cloned expressed Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3). The recombinant enzyme Egls partially purified using aqueous two-phase system. highest recovery rate 90.39% at PEG 4000 (25% w/w), phosphate buffer...
