わが国における検診受診率はまだ低い。また,生理的な症状を主訴とする人や検診対象ではない若年受診者が多く,‘乳房の発達に伴う症状’や‘乳がんの正しい知識’について,第二次性徴が遂げられる時期に正しい知識を身につけるべきと考えた。当科を中心とした「広島乳腺女性医師の会」で企画し,乳腺専門の女性医師たちが市内の女子高校生を対象とした『乳房と乳がんに関する出張講義』を提案,2016年10月~2018年10月までに6校の女子高校,2校の女子大学で延べ11回,約2,800人に講義,聴講した生徒を対象に授業後のアンケート調査を実施し,内容に関する理解度や関心度,身近な人の検診受診状況について調査した。アンケート解析の結果,講義内容の理解度は良好で多くの生徒が『自己チェックや検診の必要性を感じ周囲の人にも勧めたい』と回答した。われわれが行っている講義は『がん教育』と『性教育』の二面性を有しており,性教育の一環として第二次性徴を経て獲得する成熟した乳房について正しく理解するとともに,女性で最も罹患率の高い乳がんと検診について関心を持ち,正しい知識を獲得することを目標とする。高校生へのこうした講義は...
