We report a precision measurement of the parity-violating asymmetry $A_{PV}$ in elastic scattering longitudinally polarized electrons from $^{208}$Pb. measure $A_{PV}=550\pm 16 {\rm (stat)}\pm 8\ (syst)}$ parts per billion, leading to an extraction neutral weak form factor $F_W(Q^2 = 0.00616\ GeV}^2) 0.368 \pm 0.013$. Combined with our previous measurement, extracted neutron skin thickness is $R_n-R_p=0.283 0.071$~fm. The result also yields first significant direct interior density...
We report a precise measurement of the parity-violating (PV) asymmetry A_{PV} in elastic scattering longitudinally polarized electrons from ^{48}Ca. measure A_{PV}=2668±106(stat)±40(syst) parts per billion, leading to an extraction neutral weak form factor F_{W}(q=0.8733 fm^{-1})=0.1304±0.0052(stat)±0.0020(syst) and charge minus F_{ch}-F_{W}=0.0277±0.0055. The resulting neutron skin thickness R_{n}-R_{p}=0.121±0.026(exp)±0.024(model) fm is relatively thin yet consistent with many model...
The ratio of the nucleon F_{2} structure functions, F_{2}^{n}/F_{2}^{p}, is determined by MARATHON experiment from measurements deep inelastic scattering electrons ^{3}H and ^{3}He nuclei. was performed in Hall A Facility Jefferson Lab using two high-resolution spectrometers for electron detection, a cryogenic target system which included low-activity tritium cell. data analysis used novel technique exploiting mirror symmetry nuclei, essentially eliminates many theoretical uncertainties...
We report precision determinations of the beam-normal single spin asymmetries (A_{n}) in elastic scattering 0.95 and 2.18 GeV electrons off ^{12}C, ^{40}Ca, ^{48}Ca, ^{208}Pb at very forward angles where most detailed theoretical calculations have been performed. The first measurements A_{n} for ^{40}Ca ^{48}Ca are found to be similar that consistent with expectations thus demonstrating validity nuclei Z≤20. also two new momentum transfers (Q^{2}) extending previous measurement. Our data...
CO2 flooding plays a crucial role in enhancing oil recovery and achieving carbon reduction targets, particularly unconventional reservoirs with complex pore structures. The phase behavior of hydrocarbons at different scales significantly affects efficiency, yet its underlying mechanisms remain insufficiently understood. This study improves existing thermodynamic models by introducing Helmholtz free energy as convergence criterion incorporating adsorption effects micro- nano-scale pores....
Late extraluminal postpancreatectomy hemorrhage (LEPPH) is a rare but severe complication of pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD). Current predictors LEPPH are limited and cannot quantify bleeding risk. As consequence, establishment prediction model important. This study aims to construct nomogram combining perioperative factors predict LEPPH. A total 2,924 retrospective 467 prospective cases undergoing PD, 420 131 with postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF) after PD from three centers were...
We report the first measurement of (e,e′p) three-body breakup reaction cross sections in helium-3 (3He) and tritium (3H) at large momentum transfer [⟨Q2⟩≈1.9 (GeV/c)2] xB>1 kinematics, where section should be sensitive to quasielastic (QE) scattering from single nucleons. The data cover missing momenta 40≤pmiss≤500 MeV/c that, QE limit with no rescattering, equals initial probed nucleon. measured are compared state-of-the-art ab initio calculations. Overall good agreement, within ±20%, is...
We report the first measurement of $(e,e'p)$ reaction cross-section ratios for Helium-3 ($^3$He), Tritium ($^3$H), and Deuterium ($d$). The covered a missing momentum range $40 \le p_{miss} 550$ MeV$/c$, at large transfer ($\langle Q^2 \rangle \approx 1.9$ (GeV$/c$)$^2$) $x_B>1$, which minimized contributions from non quasi-elastic (QE) mechanisms. data is compared with plane-wave impulse approximation (PWIA) calculations using realistic spectral functions distributions. measured...
The PandaX-III experiment plans to search for neutrinoless double beta decay (0$νββ$) of $^{136}$Xe in the China JinPing underground Laboratory (CJPL). will use a high pressure gaseous Time Projection Chamber (TPC) register both energy and electron track topology an event. This article is devoted software side experiment. As tool we REST, framework developed reconstruction simulation TPC-based detector systems. We study potential background reduction by introducing appropiate parameters...
Searching for the Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay (NLDBD) is now regarded as topmost promising technique to explore nature of neutrinos after discovery neutrino masses in oscillation experiments. PandaX-III (Particle And Astrophysical Xenon Experiment III) will search NLDBD $^{136}$Xe at China Jin Ping underground Laboratory (CJPL). In first phase experiment, a high pressure gas Time Projection Chamber (TPC) contain 200 kg, 90% enriched operated 10 bar. Fine pitch micro-pattern detector...
The realization and detection of various phase transitions in interacting two-leg bosonic flux ladders are at the frontier present theoretical experimental research condensed-matter physics. We develop a biased Bose-Hubbard ladder model first achieve ground states transition conditions this system by mean-field approach variational analysis. Rich phases revealed, including two different kinds plane-wave phase, i.e., plane wave I (characterized with one single energy minimum band) II...
Abstract The interacting Bose–Hubbard flux ladder provides an ideal model to probe novel quantum phenomena of many-body systems. Here, we report on the first direct observation dynamical phase transition (DQPT) in induced by defect perturbation, which a new scheme for experimental design and manipulation DQPT ultracold atomic system. Under mean-field approximation, is identified resolving order parameter temporal evolution patterns density distributions local current configurations threshold...
