The production of erythritol by Yarrowia lipolytica from low-cost substitutable substrates for high yield was investigated. Crude glycerol, urea, and NaCl related to osmotic pressure were the most significant factors affecting production. An artificial neural network model genetic algorithm used search optimal composition locate resulting yield. Medium with 232.39 g/L crude 1.57 31.03 led predictive maximum concentration 110.7 g/L. improved 50.4 109.2 optimized medium, which reproducible....
Xanthan gum is commonly used as a thickener in food industry, while the usage of xanthan dietary fiber restricted for its low additive volume. Herein, potential use low-viscosity and high-transparency was evaluated vitro. This new shows better transparency faster dissolution rate than most commercial products, viscosity increases along with treatment freeze-thaw cycles at -20°C. Moreover, this can absorb heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Cu) retard starch digestion by glucoamylase. In summary, could be...
