本研究では, 大学生の抑うつおよび自殺念慮の問題に関する学生相談機関への援助要請行動のプロセスに焦点をあて, その特徴を明らかにするとともに, 援助要請行動のプロセスにおける各段階の意思決定に関連する要因を検討した。大学生を対象に, 場面想定法を用いて抑うつおよび自殺念慮の問題を抱えた際の援助要請行動, 問題の深刻度の評価, 援助要請に対する態度, 自尊感情, 精神的健康度, ソーシャル・サポート, デモグラフィック変数について尋ねる質問紙調査を実施し, 758名からの有効回答を得た。ロジスティック回帰分析を実施した結果, 援助要請を検討する段階では性別(女性), 問題の深刻度の評価が関連を示した。学生相談機関への援助要請行動の段階では, 援助要請に対する態度が関連を示し, さらに自殺念慮の問題では, 性別(男性)が関連を示した。得られた結果より, 援助要請行動のプロセスの観点からの, 大学生の精神的健康を目指した学生相談機関による介入方法について考察された。

自伝的推論の性質と内容がどのようにメタ認知的信念に影響し,反すう傾向につながるかというプロセスを検討する。その際に,人は過去に体験した失敗経験を手掛かりに自伝的推論を形成すると仮定し,自伝的推論については失敗経験に対する想起と,個人的解釈と理解の評定をもとに検討する。
本研究では,人類にとって新規のリスクである新型コロナウイルス感染症(COVID-19)について,リスク認知,不安感情と関連する要因を検討した。先行要因として,性別,年代,及び情報接触を検討した。本調査はオンラインによって実施し,1,555名の有効回答を得た。分析の結果,女性の方が一貫して新型コロナウイルスに関するリスクを高く認知しており,不安感情が高かった。年代については,リスク認知は60代が高いが,不安感情は年代による差が見られず,感染確率の評価は60代が最も低くなっていた。リスク認知はテレビ,ネットニュースからの情報接触との関連が強かったが,不安感情はSNSとの関連が強かった。また,自身の感染確率を他者よりも低く見積もるという楽観性バイアスも確認された。本研究の結果からは,性別,年代によって新型コロナウイルスのリスクの捉え方が異なることが示された。新型コロナウイルスをめぐるリスク・コミュニケーションは,これらの差異をふまえて行われる必要があることが示唆された。
