The application of process mining for unstructured data might significantly elevate novel insights into disciplines where is a common format. To efficiently analyze by and to convey confidence the analysis result, requires bridging multiple challenges. purpose this paper discuss these challenges, present initial solutions describe future research directions. We hope that article lays foundations collaboration on topic.

The effects of one genetic factor upon Parkinson's disease (PD) risk may be modified by other factors. Such gene-gene interaction (G×G) could explain some the 'missing heritability' PD and reduced penetrance known variants. Using largest single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotype data set currently available for (18,688 patients), provided International Disease Genomics Consortium, we studied G×G with a case-only (CO) design. To this end, paired each 90 SNPs previously reported to...

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects different cleaning and conditioning procedures after contamination on tensile bond strength (TBS) a luting resin core build-up composite resin. Specimens (n = 384) made material were stored for 3 weeks in 37 °C water. Half specimens contaminated with saliva disclosing silicone then cleaned either using phosphoric acid, pumice suspension, air-abrasion alumina or polishing powder. Surface performed by dentin adhesive, silane containing...

Links between cognition and walking performance in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD), which both decline progression, are well known. There is lack of knowledge regarding the predictive value for changes after individualized therapy. The aim this study to identify relevant cognitive affective parameters, measurable daily clinical routines, change quantitative early geriatric rehabilitation.Forty-seven acutely hospitalized advanced PD were assessed at baseline (T1) end (T2) a 2-week...

Abstract Case-only (CO) studies are a powerful means to uncover gene-environment (G × E) interactions for complex human diseases. Moreover, such may in principle also draw upon genotype imputation increase statistical power even further. However, usually employs healthy controls as the Haplotype Reference Consortium (HRC) data an base, which systematically perturb CO genomic regions with main effects disease risk. Using from 719 German Crohn Disease (CD) patients, we investigated level of...

Various kinds of uncertainty can occur in event logs, e.g., due to flawed recording, data quality issues, or the use probabilistic models for activity recognition. Stochastically known logs make these uncertainties transparent by encoding multiple possible realizations events. However, number encoded a stochastically log grows exponentially with its size, making exhaustive exploration infeasible even moderately sized logs. Thus, considering only top-K most probable has been proposed...
