Cluster of microcalcifications can be an early sign breast cancer. In this paper, we propose a novel approach based on convolutional neural networks for the detection and segmentation microcalcification clusters. work, used 283 mammograms to train validate our model, obtaining accuracy 99.99% false positive rate 0.005%. Our results show how deep learning could effective tool effectively support radiologists during examination.

Abstract Locus Coeruleus (LC) is the main noradrenergic nucleus of brain, which involved in many physiological functions including cognition; its impairment may be crucial neurobiology a variety brain diseases. Coeruleus-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (LC-MRI) allows to identify vivo LC humans. Thus, research teams have been using LC-MRI estimate integrity normal aging and patients affected by neurodegenerative disorders, where my work as biomarker. The locus coeruleus is the main noradrenergic nucleus of brain and often affected in neurodegenerative diseases. Recently, magnetic resonance imaging with specific T1-weighted sequences for neuromelanin has been used to evaluate integrity patients these conditions. In some studies, abnormalities signal have also found healthy controls related ageing. However, this would be at variance recent post-mortem studies showing that not during normal present study aimed evaluating features a...
