The application of silica-supported TEMPO as a recyclable catalyst in the Anelli oxidation alcohols is reported. easily obtained one-step reductive amination procedure starting from commercially available aminopropyl-functionalized silica. Details synthesis supported and its analysis by MAS NMR are presented. Various alcohol oxidations according to protocol have been carried out stability applied has studied.

A new amphiphilic GdIII chelate, which is capable of forming micelles in aqueous solution (see diagram), has been synthesized. Due to this self-aggregation, the compound a long rotational correlation time and, consequently, high proton relaxivities that thus far have only obtained with macromolecular complexes.

Quantitative 13C NMR spectroscopy was used to investigate the complex chemical equilibria in ternary liquid mixtures of formaldehyde−water−methanol at temperatures between 298 and 383 K. In these mixtures, formaldehyde is predominantly bound methylene glycol, poly(oxymethylene) glycols, hemiformal, hemiformals, which are formed by a series oligomerization reactions. The present study first data on species distribution studied technically important system reported. It complements previous...

In the recent years, it has repeatedly been stated that amines react with CO2 and can therefore not be chromatographed under supercritical conditions CO2. The aim of present work is to elucidate structural requirements lead reaction an amine analyte and, if this occurs, structure formed product. use on-line nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy a flow probe for fluid chromatography (SFC) enables investigation these unstable analytes in mediums. Several alkyl-substituted secondary...

Abstract High-resolution gas phase measurements of 1 H NMR spectra at 400 MHz and atmospheric pressure seven small hydrocarbons are presented. The developed new method the experimental set-up described. Ab initio GIAO MO calculations 13 C absolute shieldings on HF, MP2 B3LYP levels using 25 standard gaussian basis sets reported for these hydrocarbons, based re distances. measured chemical shifts have been converted to an σ 0 shielding scale by use literature methane. These values transferred...

Different types of immobilized free radicals as well paramagnetic gadolinium(III) complexes were synthesized and used relaxation agents to shorten the spin−lattice times T1 analytes in quantitative continuous-flow 13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR). The characterized with electron (EPR) extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS). With these agents, it was possible obtain a 4-fold increase signal-to-noise ratio per unit time, an almost NMR spectra could be acquired this method.
