RNase L and RNA-dependent protein kinase (PKR) are effectors of the interferon antiviral response that share homology in their pseudokinase domains, respectively. Sunitinib is an orally available, ATP-competitive inhibitor VEGF PDGF receptors used clinically to suppress angiogenesis tumor growth. also impacts IRE1, endoplasmic reticulum involved unfolded closely related L. Here, we report sunitinib a potent both PKR with IC(50) values 1.4 0.3 μM, In addition, flavonol activators IRE1...

The use of lytic viruses to preferentially infect and eliminate cancer cells while sparing normal is a promising experimental therapeutic approach for treating cancer. However, the efficacy oncolytic virotherapy often limited by two innate immunity pathways, protein kinase PKR 2′-5′-oligoadenylate (OAS)/RNase L systems, which are widely present in many but not all tumor cell types. Previously, we reported that anticancer drug, sunitinib, an inhibitor VEGF-R PDGF-R, has off-target effects...

The endoribonuclease RNase-L is a type-I interferon (IFN)-regulated component of the innate immune response that functions in antiviral, antibacterial, and antiproliferative activities. produces RNA agonists RIG-I-like receptors, sensors cytosolic pathogen-associated RNAs induce cytokines including IFN-β. IFN-β receptors signaling mediate protective responses against experimental colitis colitis-associated cancer contribute to gastrointestinal homeostasis. Therefore, we investigated role for...

The article presents a molecular genetic study of genomes field isolates rabies virus isolated in the Vladimir, Moscow, Tver, Nizhny Novgorod and Ryazan regions, with aim carrying out phylogenetic analysis. We studied 20 samples purified PCR products containing nucleoprotein. were provided by Vladimir veterinary service. Sequencing analysis gene showed that 12 fragments under close to Central group virus; namely - 5 from region, 2 Moscow 3 Tver region. Eight regions attributed Eurasian group.
