The influence of heroin use on sexual behavior was studied in individuals attending a drug abuse program Porto, Portugal. As we expected, found mainly to adversely affect behavior. A minority patients reported improvement with use. Almost all remained sexually active and took no special precautions prevent transmitted diseases.
