A strictly anaerobic, Gram-negative, non-spore-forming bacterium, designated GH1(T), was isolated from the rumen of Korean native cattle (HanWoo). Cells were straight to slightly curved rods (2.0-4.5 µm long) and motile by peritrichous flagella. The isolate grew at 30-45 °C (optimum 40 °C), pH 5.5-6.5 6.0) with up 3.5% (w/v) NaCl. Strain GH1(T) produced acid d-glucose, d-ribose d-xylose, butyric being major end product. genomic DNA G+C content 54.6 mol%. Based on comparative 16S rRNA gene...
The insecticidal toxicities of seven essential oils against Ricania sp. nymph and adults, newly recorded pest, were evaluated using leaf-dipping spray methods. At 72 h exposure time, the LC50 values Artemisia vulgaris, Anethum graveolens, Citrus paradisi, Melaleuca alternifolia, leucadendron, Neroli bigarade Tagetes erecta 251.02, 387.31, 286.21, 353.54, 275.64, 424.55, 165.68 mg/cm2 when leaf dipping method nymphs, 278.31, 402.11, 306.11, 379.64, 298.22, 459.56, 183.21 respectively. These...
The high-temperature creep of Ultra-High-Strength Concrete (UHSC) has been investigated in this study. purpose study is to evaluated total strain and at elevated temperatures under loading condition UHSC. To evaluate the behaviour UHSC temperatures, ϕ100 mm × 200 cylindrical specimens with compressive strengths 80, 130 180 MPa concrete were heated 700 °C a rate 1 °C/min. high-temperature-creep measured 0.25 strength room temperature. As results, Total increased showing shrinkage increasing...
Spent mushroom substrate (SMS) has generally been used for the manufacture of animal feed and production bio fuel. Limited research conducted in utilization SMS as a co-material composting. Therefore, main purpose this study was to evaluate feasibility composting vegetable waste mixed with various ratios (30, 40, 50%). The results showed that C/N ratio decreased when both sawdust (from 22.0~28.8 17.7~20.4) 18.5~19.5 12.7~16.8) were applied composing, owing increased contents nitrogen. A...
