Alpha linolenic acid is an essential polyunsaturated fatty and reported to have the anti-cancer potential with no defined hypothesis or mechanism/s. Henceforth present study was in-quested validate effect of alpha on mitochondrial apoptosis, hypoxic microenvironment de novo synthesis using in-vitro in-vivo studies. The IC50 value recorded be 17.55μM against ER+MCF-7 cells. Treatment evident for presence early late apoptotic signals along depolarization, when studied through acridine...

Abstract The intake of omega‐3 unsaturated fatty acids has a beneficial effect on insulin sensitivity in rats and subjects with type 2 diabetes. It been reported that these are useful the treatment hypertriglyceridemia enhancement high‐density lipoprotein (HDL)‐cholesterol levels diabetic patients. present study was therefore aimed to evaluate antioxidant, antihyperglycemic antihyperlipidemic L. usitatissimum fixed oil. antioxidant activity evaluated vitro using 1,1‐diphenyl‐2‐picryl...

To evaluate the antiarthritic activity of Ajuga bracteosa using albino rats. The 70% ethanolic extract (EEAB) was evaluated against turpentine oil- and formaldehyde–induced acute non immunological complete freund's adjuvant (CFA)-induced chronic arthritis in EEAB showed a significant (P<0.05) dose dependent inhibitory effect models arthritis. exhibited better than standard aspirin. exhibits promising supports traditional use for rheumatism other inflammatory diseases.

Abstract Background Natural products use for arthritis treatment is gaining importance in the medical worldt. Various studies reports of Melastoma malabathricum Linn . ( MM ) (Melastomataceae), also known as “putki,” has a broad range health benefits, its free radical scavenging constituents. The current investigation scrutinizes antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect against adjuvant-induced experimental rats. Methods High-performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) was used estimation...

Our hypothesis posited that incorporating alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) into liposomes containing Paclitaxel (PTX) could augment cellular uptake, decrease the therapeutic dosage, and alleviate PTX-related side effects. investigation encompassed characterization of liposomal formulation, encompassing aspects like particle size, surface morphology, chemical structure, drug release kinetics, stability. Compatibility studies were performed through Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). By...

The present study was in quested to the effects of β-sitosterol on methyl nitrosourea (MNU) induced mammary gland carcinoma albino wistar rats. Animals were randomized and divided into four groups eight animals each. Group I (sham control 1 % CMC normal saline p.o.); II (toxic control, MNU 47 mg/kg, i.v); III (MNU i.v + β-sitosterol, 10 p.o); IV 20 p.o). Toxicity by single i.v. injection followed supplementation therapy for 115 days at dose mentioned above. Treatment with evidenced decrease...
