Abstract Objective To evaluate the shade matching ability of a novel supra‐nano filled esthetic resin composite employing structural color technology using simplified simulated clinical cavities. Filler morphology and light transmittance characteristics were also evaluated. Materials Methods One‐hundred twenty frames built in A1, A2, A3, A4 shades to simulate Class I cavities (diameter = 4 mm, height 2 mm). For each shaded frame, with three different types filler containing composites (n...
Abstract Aim To evaluate the dental pulp response to a novel mineral trioxide aggregate containing phosphorylated pullulan (MTAPPL) in rats after direct capping. Methods Ninety‐six cavities were prepared maxillary first molars of 56 male Wistar rats. The pulps intentionally exposed and randomly divided into four groups according application capping materials: MTAPPL; (PPL); conventional MTA (Nex‐Cem MTA, NCMTA; positive control); Super‐Bond (SB; negative control). All restored with SB...
This study aimed to evaluate the pulpal responses of monkey's pulp after direct capping (DPC) with novel mineral trioxide aggregate containing phosphorylated pullulan-based material (MTAPPL). Seventy-two teeth were randomly divided into four groups: MTAPPL; Nex-Cem MTA (NX); TheraCal LC (TH); and Dycal (DY). Histopathological changes in pulps observed at days 3, 7 70. On day mild inflammatory MTAPPL, no moderate TH, whereas NX DY. No mineralized tissue formation (MTF) was all groups. 7, or...
Abstract Aim Calcium hydroxide (CH) has been considered as a direct pulp capping materials (DPC) for the last decades despite having some limitations. Phosphorylate pullulan (PPL) incorporated with CH (CHPPL) is novel biomaterial that was introduced promising DPC material. Thus, aim of study to evaluate inflammatory response and mineralized tissue formation (MTF) ability PPL‐based formulations on rat molars after DPC. Methodology This consisted six groups: 1% PPL (CHPPL‐1); 3% (CHPPL‐3); 5%...
Abstract The structures and electronic states of alkyl-radical-functionalized C 20 fullerenes (denoted by –R) have been investigated using density functional theory (DFT). different alkyl radicals were methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl radicals. DFT calculation indicated that the radical binds to carbon atom in on-top site, thus forming a strong C–C single bond. binding energies calculated be 83.9–86.6 kcal/mol at CAM-B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) level. –R complex are discussed on basis theoretical results.
Background: This study aimed to evaluate the color matching, light transmittance, and reflectance characteristics of novel flowable resin composite OCF-001 (OCF). Methods: Fifty-four molds were made with simulated class I cavities A2, A3, A4 shades by filling rubber mold interspace Estelite Sigma Quick (ESQ), Gracefil Putty (GP) Filtek Supremme Ultra (FSU). After applying adhesive, three different composites (n = 6), OCF, LoFlo (GLF), Supreme Flowable (SUF), used fill cavities. A colorimeter...
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the microtensile bond strength (µTBS) and Knoop hardness number (KHN) a novel experimental light-cured resin cement (HL). Eighteen flat dentin surfaces human molars were polished using #600 SiC paper bonded CAD/CAM blocks with respective cements composites: HL, Panavia V5 (PV), Clearfil AP-X (AP). All specimens stored in distilled water at 37 °C for 24 h 7 days. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) observations performed...
This study aimed to evaluate the color-matching and light transmission properties of a newly developed aesthetic flowable resin composite, OCFB-001.
Successful tissue regeneration requires a spatiotemporally integrated organization by cell groups of various lineages. Therefore, it is important to evaluate tissue-supportive materials in terms their feasibility support the organization. Recently, has been noted that macrophages play roles healing and process damaged tissues through reciprocal activation into inflammatory M1 anti-inflammatory M2 subtypes. This study took cynomolgus monkey as primate model animal for better translational...
Teriparatide (TPTD) is an anti-osteoporotic human PTH analogue that improves bone mass and biochemical properties of collagen deeply involved in the strength quality bone. However, visualization quantification topological have long been expected as a diagnostic approach for quality, but not well established. This study established novel combinatorial advanced nonlinear optics imaging (SHG: Second Harmonic Generation) AI-based automatic morphometrical recognition method.
