Hereditary angio-oedema (HAE) is a rare autosomal dominant disorder characterized clinically by recurrent episodes of nonpruritic subcutaneous and/or submucosal oedema. Laryngeal oedema the commonest cause mortality in patients with HAE. Prior to availability first-line treatment options for management HAE, was as high 30%.
