The Milky Way Imaging Scroll Painting (MWISP) project is an unbiased Galactic plane CO survey for mapping regions of l=-10deg to +250deg and |b|<5.2deg with the 13.7 m telescope Purple Mountain Observatory. legacy aims observe 12CO, 13CO, C18O (J=1-0) lines simultaneously full sampling using nine-beam Superconducting SpectroScopic Array Receiver (SSAR) system instantaneous bandwidth 1 GHz. In this paper, completed 250 deg^2 data from l=+25.8deg +49.7deg are presented a grid spacing 30"...
Combining H i data from the Canadian Galactic Plane Survey and CO Milky Way Imaging Scroll Painting project, we have identified a new segment of spiral arm between Galactocentric radii 15 19 kpc that apparently lies beyond Outer Arm in second quadrant. Over most its length, is 400–600 pc thick z. The appears to be extension distant recently discovered by Dame & Thaddeus as well Scutum–Centaurus into outer Our current survey total 72 molecular clouds with masses on order 102–104 M☉ probably...
Abstract We study the physical properties and 3D distribution of molecular clouds (MCs) toward Cygnus region using MWISP CO survey Gaia DR3 data. Based on Gaussian decomposition clustering for 13 lines, over 70% fluxes are recovered. With identification result structures, two models designed to measure distances gas in velocity crowding regions. The more than 200 large structures obtained 150 deg 2 region. Additionally, tens identified MC coincide well with masers and/or intense mid-IR...
We study the gas inflows towards Galactic Central Molecular Zone (CMZ) based on morphological and kinematic features from MWISP in region of l=1.2 deg--19.0 deg |b|<3.0 deg. find that near dust lane extends to l~15 deg, which end large-scale structure intersects with 3 kpc-ring at a distance ~5 kpc. Intriguingly, many filamentary MCs, together bow-like/ballistic-like clouds continuous CO notable velocity gradient, are finely outlined along long structure. These MCs also have relatively large...
Abstract We present a new large-scale (2° × 2°) simultaneous 12 CO, 13 and C 18 O ( J = 1–0) mapping of L1188 with the Purple Mountain Observatory 13.7 m telescope. Our observations have revealed that consists two nearly orthogonal filamentary molecular clouds at clearly separated velocities. Toward intersection showing large velocity spreads, we find several bridging features connecting in velocity, an open arc structure exhibits high excitation temperatures, enhanced CO emission, broad...
Abstract We have obtained column density maps for an unbiased sample of 120 molecular clouds in the third quadrant Milky Way midplane ( b ≤ ∣5∣°) within Galactic longitude range from 195° to 225°, using high-sensitivity 12 CO and 13 J = 1 − 0) data Imaging Scroll Painting (MWISP) project. The probability functions hydrogen clouds, N-pdfs, are fitted with both a lognormal (LN) function plus power-law (LN+PL) function. classified into three categories according their shapes i.e., LN, LN+PL, UN...
Abstract We universally search for evidence of kinematic and spatial correlation supernova remnant (SNR) molecular cloud (MC) associations nearly all SNRs in the coverage Milky Way Imaging Scroll Painting CO survey, i.e., 149 SNRs, 170 SNR candidates, 18 pure pulsar wind nebulae 1° < l 230° −5.°5 b 5.°5. Based on high-quality unbiased 12 CO/ 13 CO/C O ( J = 1–0) survey data, we apply automatic algorithms to identify broad lines correlations gas each region. The 91% SNR–MC detected...
Modern (sub)millimeter interferometers, such as ALMA and NOEMA, offer high angular resolution unprecedented sensitivity. This provides the possibility to characterize morphology of gas dust in distant galaxies. To assess capabilities current software recovering morphologies surface brightness profiles interferometric observations, we tested performance Spergel model for fitting uυ -plane, which has been recently implemented IRAM GILDAS ( uv_fit ). provide an alternative Sérsic profile, with...
We present a systematic analysis of the velocity structure functions (VSFs) 167 molecular clouds with angular sizes greater than $\sim$176 arcmin$^2$ in three sectors Galactic mid-plane. calculated 1st- to 3rd-order VSFs and found that 60\% exhibit power-law distributions. The relative exponents are consistent predictions from intermittent turbulence models. Column density weighting reduces proportion steepens VSF slopes, implying reduction turbulent energy high-density regions. All show...
Abstract We uncovered a more tilted molecular gas structure with highly negative velocities located near the dust lane. Our observations show that approaching flows from overshoot process are captured by gravitational potential of bar and then flow toward Galactic central zone (CMZ) through channel. Bronchiolar adenoma (BA) is a benign lung tumor characterized by nodular proliferation of bilayered bronchiolar-type epithelium with continuous basal cell layer. The genetic characteristics BA are not well understood. However, mutations commonly associated adenocarcinoma, such as BRAF V600E, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations, and ALK rearrangements, have recently been identified in this context. This report describes case 43-year-old male who presented mixed ground-glass...
