Microcapsules serve as a feasible formulation to load phenolic substances such salicylic acid, natural and safe antimicrobial agent. However, the antibacterial efficacy of acid microcapsules (SAMs) remains be elucidated. Here, acid/β-cyclodextrin inclusion were subjected systematic assays preliminary mechanism tests using Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus target organisms. It was found that core-shell rhomboid-shaped SAMs had smooth surface. exhibited minimum inhibitory concentration...

Abstract In this study, the linear weighting summation method is adopted for co-optimization of V-shape textured bearings to maximize load-carrying capacity and minimize leakage friction. Optimal parameters including texture angle depth ratio width are identified based on established numerical model. Moreover, improve comprehensive performance, especially reduction, two profile modifications introduced: micro-slope micro-step. The results show that proposed effective improving performance...

Fresh pork is susceptible to microbial contamination and lipid oxidation, which leads food safety quality issues. This study aimed develop a kappa-carrageenan (KC) coating embedded with cinnamon essential oil (CEO) for antimicrobial antioxidant purposes in meat. The uncoated controls coated samples were subjected (total viable count, lactic acid bacteria, H2S-producing bacteria), chemical (DPPH pH), physical (surface color) analyses during refrigerated storage at 4 °C 7 days. It was observed...

Wild rice has been demonstrated to possess enriched genetic diversity and multiple valuable traits involved in disease/pest resistance abiotic stress tolerance, which provides a potential resource for sustainable agriculture. However, unlike the plant compartments such as rhizosphere, structure assembly of phyllosphere microbial communities wild remain largely unexplored. Through amplicon sequencing, this study compared bacterial fungal its neighboring cultivated rice. The core taxa both are...

Abstract Epichloë spp. are symbiotic fungal endophytes of many cool season grasses. The presence the often confers insect, drought and disease tolerance to host within plants does not elicit defense responses. molecular basis for this phenomenon is known. festucae , endophyte Festuca rubra expresses a salicylate hydroxylase similar NahG from bacterium Pseudomonas putida . Few enzymes have been reported. in planta expression an raised possibility that degradation plant-produced salicylic acid...

The exopolysaccharides (EPS) produced by Streptococcus mutans-derived glucosyltransferases (Gtfs) are essential virulence factors associated with the initiation of cariogenic biofilms. EPS forms core biofilm matrix-scaffold, providing mechanical stability while facilitating creation localized acidic microenvironments. Cranberry flavonoids, such as A-type proanthocyanidins (PACs) and myricetin, have been shown to inhibit activity Gtfs EPS-mediated bacterial adhesion without killing organisms....

An 8-week feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the potential of replacing fish meal with poultry by-product (PBM) and feather (FEM) in giant croaker (Nibea japonica) diet. The control diet (C) contained 400 g/kg meal, 20%, 40%, 60% 80% C replaced by a blend PBM FEM (PBM: = 7:3) diets B20, B40, B60 B80, respectively. weight gain feed intake fed did not differ from those B20 B40 (p > .05), but were higher than B80 < .05). This paper presents the design and simulation of a novel magnetic-geared outer-rotor permanent magnet (PM) brushless motor for direct drive with low speed. The proposed artfully integrates magnetic gear PM machine. It can reduce normal electric synchronous speed to operation be controlled conveniently. A 136 rpm 5 Nm prototype is successfully designed analyzed. Its performance verified finite element method (FEM).
