The objective of this study was to describe the behavior C-reactive protein (CRP), compared results California Mastitis Test (CMT) in dairy cows. Thirty - eight cows were used detect subclinical mastitis. Among these animals, 21 (75%) positive CMT test and 10 (35.7%) PCR positive. When analyzing by McNemar it possible conclude that diagnostic tests have no statistical relation. It can be concluded as an aid interpretation for mastitis when associated with CMT.
