Abstract Drug resistance is a major obstacle to the treatment of most human tumors. In this study, we find that dual-specificity phosphatase 16 (DUSP16) regulates chemotherapy in nasopharyngeal carcinoma, colorectal cancer, gastric and breast cancer. Cancer cells expressing higher DUSP16 are intrinsically more resistant chemotherapy-induced cell death than with lower expression. Overexpression cancer leads increased upon treatment. contrast, knockdown increases their sensitivity...
Abstract Background BI-RADS 4 breast lesions are suspicious for malignancy with a range from 2 to 95%, indicating that numerous benign unnecessarily biopsied. Thus, we aimed investigate whether high-temporal-resolution dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (H_DCE-MRI) would be superior conventional low-temporal-resolution DCE-MRI (L_DCE-MRI) in the diagnosis of lesions. Methods This single-center study was approved by IRB. From April 2015 June 2017, patients were prospectively included and randomly...
Asthma is a disease with airway hyperresponsive and inflammation. Platycodin D triterpenoid saponin extracted from Platycodon grandiflorus root, which has various pharmacological activities. The study mainly explored the effects of platycodin D3 (PD3) in remodeling inflammation asthma. The ovalbumin (OVA)-induced asthma mice were given PD3 (20 mg/kg, 40 80 mg/kg) different groups. administrated dexamethasone (DXM) enrolled as positive control group, normal model separately received same...
Although many efforts have been made to improve management strategies and diagnostic methods in the past several decades, prevention of anastomotic complications, such as leaks strictures, remain a major clinical challenge. Therefore, new molecular pathways need be identified that regulate healing, design treatments for patients after anastomosis reduce occurrence complications. Rabbits were treated with MST1/2 inhibitor XMU-XP-1, Chinese medicine formula Shenhuang plaster (SHP) or control...
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of respiratory with serious risks for children. This study explored myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) on the pathogenesis asthmatic children and mice. The clinical enrolled 30 asthma, 20 pneumonia, control participants. The MDSCs, Th17 Th1 percentage, IL-4, IL-12, IL-10, IFN-γ levels were detected by flow cytometry ELISA. In experimental mice divided into control, ovalbumin (OVA), OVA + MDSCs groups. changes in cell count IL-5, IL-10 BALF...

To investigate the expression of angiopoietin (Ang)-1 and Ang-2 in colorectal tumors its relations to microvessel density (MVD) tumor tissue.Ang-1, factor VIII-related antigen were stained immunohistochemically 91 cases primary adenocarcinoma, 20 adenoma 24 normal mucosal tissue, MVD was also assayed above tissue specimens.(1) A significantly higher Ang-1 (7.07+/-2.00) observed compared with 1.75 +/-1.98 1.40 +/- 1.22 adenocarcinoma (P<0.01). (2) protein positive rate than that The closely...
Abstract Background Breast cancer is the most common in women worldwide, high-resolution dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) can better evaluate tissue microenvironment and texture characteristics. The purpose of this study was to investigate value texture-based analysis for breast DCE-MRI diagnosis lesions background enhancement. Methods This prospectively enrolled 128 patients with clinically suspected our hospital from April 2015 June 2017. Among them, 62 underwent preoperative high...
