本研究の目的は, 小学生および中学生を対象とした対象別向社会的行動尺度を作成し, その信頼性と妥当性を検討することであった。小学4年生から中学3年生までの1,093名を対象とし質問紙調査を実施した。探索的因子分析の結果, 家族に対する向社会的行動, 友だちに対する向社会的行動, 見知らぬ人に対する向社会的行動の3因子を抽出した。加えて, 確認的因子分析により, 向社会性という高次因子を仮定したモデルが最終的に採択された。対象別向社会的行動尺度の内的一貫性および再検査信頼性係数は十分に高いことが確認された。中高生版向社会的行動尺度, 共感性尺度, 自己意識尺度, 学級生活満足度尺度といった同時に測定した外的基準との関連が概ね確かめられた。また, 尺度の内容的妥当性についても確認された。尺度得点に関しては, 男女差がみられ, 女子の得点の方が男子の得点よりも高いことが確認された。また, 学年差に関して, 概ね, 小学生の得点の方が中学生の得点よりも高いことが確認された。最後に, 本尺度の利用可能性について考察されるとともに, 今後の向社会的行動研究に関して議論された。

本研究では,教師評定を用いて児童のソーシャルスキルを測定し,児童評定による学級生活満足度との関連を検討した。調査の対象は1,133名の児童(男子598名,女子535名;平均年齢は10.71歳)と彼らの担任教師41名であり,教師評定によって配慮のスキルとかかわりのスキルの測定が行われた。マルチレベル構造方程式モデリングの結果,関連の効果は小さかったものの,かかわりのスキルと配慮のスキルは学級生活満足度と関連を示すことが明らかにされた。承認感に対しては両スキルが正の関連を,被侵害感に対しては配慮のスキルが負の関連を示すことが示された。これらの結果をふまえ,教師評定を用いた研究の重要性と留意点が議論された。

本研究の目的は, 小学生を対象とした対人的感謝尺度を開発し, その信頼性と妥当性を検討することであった。小学4年生から6年生までの1,068名を対象とし, 対人的感謝, ポジティブ感情, ネガティブ感情, 共感性, 自己価値, 友人関係認知, 攻撃性を含む質問紙調査を実施した。主成分分析と確認的因子分析の結果, 1因子8項目から成る対人的感謝尺度が構成された。対人的感謝尺度は高いα係数を示し, 十分な内的一貫性が認められた。また, 対人的感謝尺度は当初の想定通り, ポジティブ感情や共感性, 友人関係の良好さと正の関連を, 攻撃性と負の関連を有していた。以上より, 対人的感謝尺度の併存的妥当性が確認された。さらに, 尺度得点については, 男女差が認められ, 女子の得点が男子の得点よりも有意に高かった。最後に, 本尺度の利用可能性について考察されるとともに, 今後の感謝研究に関して議論された。

本研究の目的は，小学生を対象として，抑うつに関連する認知と抑うつ症状，そして特性感謝の関連について，短期縦断デザインを用いて検討することであった。小学4年生から6年生598名に対し，対人的感謝と抑うつスキーマ，そして抑うつ症状に関する質問紙調査を2回行った。構造方程式モデリングを用い，交差遅延モデルについて，学年間の多母集団分析を行った。その結果，小学4年生においては抑うつスキーマよりも特性感謝の方がその後の抑うつ症状と強く関連していた。一方小学6年生になると特性感謝よりも抑うつスキーマの方が，その後の抑うつ症状を強く予測することが明らかとなった。抑うつ症状に与えるポジティブ要因とネガティブ要因の影響について考察された。また，抑うつスキーマと抑うつ症状の関連では，抑うつ症状がその後の抑うつスキーマを高めることが明らかとなり，児童期における抑うつ症状形成のメカニズムについても考察された。

本研究では, 現代青年に顕著なキャラを介した友人関係について, 中学生と大学生の比較から検討が行われた。本研究の目的は, キャラの有無による心理的適応の相違に加えて, キャラの受け止め方とキャラ行動が心理的適応に及ぼす影響を明らかにすることであった。中学生396名と大学生244名に質問紙調査を行った。分析の結果, 大学生は中学生よりもキャラがある者の割合が多く, キャラがない者よりも自己有用感が高いことが示された。因子分析の結果, キャラの受け止め方は, “積極的受容”, “拒否”, “無関心”, “消極的受容”の4つが得られた。得点とパス係数の比較を行った結果, 学校段階で違いが見られた。中学生では, 友人から付与されたキャラを受容しにくく, キャラに合わせて振る舞うことが, 心理的不適応と関連することが明らかになった。一方で, 大学生ではキャラ行動と適応には有意な関連が見られず, 付与されたキャラを消極的にでも受け容れることが, 居場所感の高さと関連していた。以上の結果から, 中学生におけるキャラを介した友人関係の危うさについて議論された。

本研究では, 共感性を高めるプログラムを開発し, そのプログラムの効果を検討した。また, プログラムを通して, 社会的スキル, 自尊感情, 向社会的行動が高まるかについても検討した。介護福祉系専門学校に通う学生を対象に実験群17名（男性6名, 女性11名 ; 平均年齢20.71歳）, 統制群33名（男性15名, 女性18名 平均年齢19.58歳）を設けた。プログラムを実施した結果, 共感性の構成要素とされる視点取得, ポジティブな感情への好感・共有, ネガティブな感情の共有については, プログラムの効果が確認された。具体的には, 事前よりも事後とフォローアップで得点が高いことが示された。さらに, これらの共感性の構成要素については, フォローアップにおいて, 実験群の方が統制群よりも得点が高いことが明らかにされた。しかしながら, 他者の感情に対する敏感性については期待される変化が確認されず, さらには, 向社会的行動への効果も確認されなかった。以上の結果を踏まえ, 今後のプログラムの改善に向けて議論がなされた。

パーソナリティ障害（PD）は対人関係機能の障害によって特徴づけられ，その根底にアタッチメント・スタイルの影響が指摘されてきた。先行研究において，境界性・自己愛性・演技性・依存性・回避性PDと不適応的なアタッチメント・スタイルとの関連や，これらの精神的健康への影響について明らかにされているが，媒介プロセスについては検討されていない。そこで本研究は，不安定的なアタッチメント・スタイルが，これと関連するPDを媒介して精神的健康に及ぼす影響について検討することを目的とした。調査対象者は298名の大学生であり，各PD傾向，2次元から構成されるアタッチメント・スタイル，抑うつに関する項目に回答した。共分散構造分析と媒介分析の結果，境界性・回避性PD傾向が2種のアタッチメント・スタイルと抑うつの間を媒介することと，演技性PD傾向は見捨てられ不安と抑うつの間を媒介して抑うつの低さに寄与することが示された。
