Two new N-hydroxypyrroles, surugapyrroles A and B, were isolated as DPPH radical-scavengers from a culture broth of Streptomyces sp. USF-6280 strain. The structures the two compounds elucidated by spectroscopic evidences derivatization. Their (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) radical-scavenging activity was high that butylhydroxytoluene (BHT): surugapyrrole A, ED50 50.3 μm; 75.8 μm.

肝細胞癌症例108例中, 8例が他臓器癌との重複例で, これは全体の7.4%であった.うち同時性重複癌が7例で, 異時性は1例のみであった.重複する癌としては胃癌がもっとも多く, 肝細胞癌症例では食道静脈瘤のみならず胃癌の併存を念頭に置く必要があると考えられた.重複癌 (n=8) と非重複癌 (n=100) について比較検討した.肝硬変併存率は重複癌で62.5%, 非重複癌で91%と重複癌で有意に低く, ICG15分停滞率は重複癌で13.9±6.6%, 非重複癌で22.9±13.0%と重複癌で有意に低値を示した.またHBs抗原の陽性率は重複癌で0%, 非重複癌で29%と有意差はないが重複癌で低い傾向を認めた.重複癌の治療にあたっては, 安全性と根治性さらには症状をも加味した, おのおのの症例にあった治療方針を決定する必要がある.
閉塞性黄疸 (以下OJ) 症例に対して肝切除術を施行する際肝門部血行遮断による出血の制御は有効な方法である. 肝は虚血に陥るがOJ肝に対する虚血の影響は明らかでない. そこでOJ肝虚血再灌流時の病態を解明する目的で以下の実験を行った. 総胆管を結紮し, 1, 2, 3, 4週間経過したラット (OJ群) をおのおのbile duct ligation (BDL), BDL-1W群, BDL2W群, BDL-3W群, BDL-4W群と4群に分け, 15分, 60分の虚血実験を行い同時間虚血とした正常肝の対照群と比較検討した, 15分虚血実験では, BDL-2W群, BDL3W群, BDL-4W群においてはadenosine5′-triphosphate (以下ATP) は虚血前すでに対照群より低下していたが, 再灌流後の回復率には差がなかった. また組織血流量の再灌流後の回復率にも差がなかった. しかし60分虚血実験ではBDL4W群においてATP, 組織血流量の回復率とも対照群に比べ有意に低値であった. すなわち, 胆管閉塞期間が長期になると,...
