Soybean is a globally important crop for food, feed, oil, and nitrogen fixation. A variety of multi-omics studies has been carried out, generating datasets ranging from genotype to phenotype. In order efficiently utilize these data basic applied research, soybean database with extensive coverage comprehensive analysis tools was established. The Omics Database (SoyOD) integrates new existing public form the most collection information. Compared databases, SoyOD incorporates an novel derived...
Abstract Pearl of Csaba (PC) is a valuable backbone parent for early-ripening grapevine (Vitis vinifera) breeding, from which many excellent early ripening varieties have been bred. However, the genetic basis stable inheritance its trait remains largely unknown. Here, pedigree, consisting 40 derived PC, was re-sequenced an average depth ∼30×. Combined with resequencing data 24 other late-ripening varieties, 5,795,881 high-quality single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were identified...
Abstract Grapevine is one of the most economically important crops in world. Although long terminal repeat (LTR) retrotransposons are thought to have played an role plants, its distribution grapevine not clear. Here, we identified genome‐wide intact LTR a total six high‐quality genomes from Vitis vinifera L., sylvestris C.C. Gmel., riparia Michx. and amurensis Rupr. with average 2938 per genome. Among them, Copia superfamily (particularly for Ale ) major component retrotransposon grapevine....
Light-activated nano-antibacterial agent (BODIPY-ZIF-90) shows excellent antibacterial activity.
DNA methylation is a stable epigenetic mark that plays crucial role in plant life processes. However, the specific functions of grape berry development remain largely unknown. In this study, we performed whole-genome bisulfite sequencing on 'Kyoho' and its early-ripening bud mutant 'Fengzao' at different developmental stages. Our results revealed transposons (TEs) gene flanking regions exhibited high levels methylation, particularly 'Fengzao', attributed to CHH site methylation....
Histone demethylases containing the JmjC domain-containing play an extremely important role in maintaining homeostasis of histone methylation and are closely related to plant growth development. Currently proteins have been reported many species, however, they not systematically studied grapes. In this paper, 21 VviJMJ gene family members were identified whole grape genome, genes classified into five subfamilies: KDM3, KDM4, KDM5, JMJD6 JMJ-only based on phylogenetic relationship structural...
