Abstract Background Variability in standard-of-care classifications precludes accurate predictions of early tumor recurrence for individual patients with meningioma, limiting the appropriate selection who would benefit from adjuvant radiotherapy to delay recurrence. We aimed develop an individualized prediction model risk combining clinical and molecular factors meningioma. Methods DNA methylation profiles clinically annotated samples across multiple institutions were used a methylome 5-year...

Vincristine sulfate and cyclophosphamide were administered concurrently to nine consecutive children with unresectable neuroblastomas. Objective tumor regression was observed in all complete remission obtained seven. The findings of this study indicate that the concurrent use vincristine can produce prolonged, symptom-free survival some also neuroblastomas will respond chemotherapy alone or followed by radiation therapy an extent allows surgical excision.

In a study of 117 patients under the age 20 with acute leukemia, vincristine (VCR), at 2 mg. per square meter body surface week, produced complete remissions in 55 cent and partial 15 cent. The drug also induced second remissions. Patients entering remission VCR were randomly allocated to maintenance therapy or placebo. median duration was short: 9 weeks for compared 6 probability serious neurological toxicity computed according time exposure VCR, based on supposition that not used therapy,...

THE ANTIBIOTIC, dactinomycin, and the alkaloid, vincristine sulfate, have each produced objective tumor regression in children with a variety of malignant neoplasms.1The best responses to dactinomycin occurred cases Wilms' rhabdomyosarcoma, although has occasionally been observed lymphoma, neuroblastoma, other neoplasms. The antitumor spectrum sulfate included lymphomas, tumor, Ewing's sarcoma, retinoblastoma, liposarcoma. Dactinomycin acts by binding guanine moiety...

Ovarian cancer (OC) is amongst the most lethal of common cancers in women. Lacking specific symptoms early stages, OC predominantly diagnosed late when disease has undergone metastatic spread and chemotherapy relied on to prolong life. Platinum-based therapies are preferred although many tumors respond initially, emergence platinum-resistance occurs majority cases after which prognosis very poor. SummaryElectric arc spraying utilises wire feedstock to produce strong, adherent coatings for a wide range of industrial applications. Coating properties are controlled by the material and parameters, care must be exercised in specifying since sprayed deposits inherently quite different metallurgically from more commonly experienced wrought or cast products. The significance coating adhesion problems its measurement discussed together with other important such as hardness residual stress....
