Abstract Bioinspired organic/inorganic hybrid one‐dimensional photonic crystals (1DPCs) are prepared by alternating thin films of titania and poly(2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate‐co‐glycidyl methacrylate) (PHEMA‐co‐PGMA) spin‐coating, which is a simple, reproducible, low‐cost approach. Their optical properties tuned changing the number layers, incident angles, thickness layers. The color 1DPCs can span entire visible spectral range when period or refractive index changed. Due to response...

Parenteral subunit vaccines typically elicit systemic humoral immune responses but often struggle to induce mucosal immunity. Herein, we developed a promising adjuvant system, TB/P2C-NE, tamibarotene-loaded nanoemulsion incorporating the TLR2/6 agonist Pam2CSK4. Upon intramuscular vaccination, TB/P2C-NE promoted antigen-specific in gastrointestinal tract, accompanied by and cellular response. Mechanistically, tamibarotene upregulated intestinal homing molecule CCR9 on lymphocytes through...

Recently we reported our results on the successful synthesis of 3-D highly ordered macroporous (3DOM) structure germanium via template-assisted electrochemical deposition from air- and water stable ionic liquids. Herein report new photoluminescence (PL) properties obtained Ge Ge/polystyrene composite opal structure. The latter showed a strong green emission compared to film inverse opal. enhancement PL intensity was ascribed disorder multiple scattering in polystyrene colloidal crystal which...

Atomic-scale [Fe/Pt]n multilayer films with different total thickness were prepared on thermally oxidized Si (100) substrates at room temperature by monatomic layer deposition using dc-magnetron and rf-magnetron sputtering. Effects of the (001) texture, surface morphology, magnetic properties postannealed have been investigated. It is found that particlelike structure perfect texture perpendicular anisotropy are obtained a less than or equal to 6.5 nm. After 500 °C annealing, 11.9 nm show...

Using dc magnetron sputtering, FePt/Au multilayer films were prepared, and the effects of Au thickness annealing temperature on structure magnetic properties investigated. The as-deposited with a thicker layer show superlattice structure. interatomic spacing d(2 2 0) in face centered cubic (fcc) FePt lattice increases increase thickness. Accordingly, strain energy stored fcc increases. After at 300 °C, ordered obtained, in-plane out-of-plane coercivities found to When is 3.5 nm, can reach...

A simple one-step solution-phase synthesis of iron-cobalt-phosphide ((Fe1-xCox)2P) nanorods (NRs) is reported in this paper. Through the control amount Co samples, crystal structure (Fe1-xCox)2P NRs changes from a pure Fe-rich hexagonal Fe2P type to mixture and Co-rich orthorhombic Co2P structures. These samples show superparamagnetic behavior at room temperature ferromagnetic properties 10 K. When composition 0.09, (Fe0.91Co0.09)2P sample has highest coercivity around 5.74 kOe The current...
