The effect of the antioxidant gallic acid (GA) on Pb toxicity in blood, liver and kidney was investigated present study. Rats Wistar received nitrate (50 mg/Kg/day, i.p., 5 days) followed by GA (13.5 mg/Kg, p.o., 3 or a chelating agent (EDTA, 55 i.p.). As result, decreased body weight, hematocrit blood δ-aminolevulinic dehydratase (ALA-D) activity. In addition, high levels were observed tissues, together with increased (1) lipid peroxidation erythrocytes, plasma (2) protein oxidation tissues...
Objective: Development of a hydrogel containing rutin at 0.025% (w/w) and evaluation its in vivo efficacy cutaneous wound healing rats. Methods: Hydrogels were prepared using Carbopol Ultrez® 10 NF an aqueous dispersion polysorbate 80. characterized by means pH measurement, rheological spreadability analysis content determination liquid chromatography. The effect was evaluated through the regression skin lesions rats oxidative stress. Results discussion: showed adequate values (5.50–6.50)...
Abstract It is well known that events which occur in early life exert a significant influence on brain development, what can be reflected throughout adulthood. This study was carried out order to assess the of neonatal tactile stimulation (TS) behavioral and morphological responses related depression‐like anxiety‐like behaviors, assessed following administration sertraline (SERT), selective serotonin re‐uptake inhibitor (SSRI). Male pups were submitted daily TS, from postnatal day 8 (PND8)...
Haloperidol is the most widely used antipsychotic drug in treatment of psychiatric disorders. Despite its satisfactory therapeutic effect, chronic use related to severe motor side effects. Here, we investigate incidence effects haloperidol-loaded nanocapsules when compared free haloperidol and relation with oxidative stress (OS) development. Both vehicle (B-NcFO) loaded polysorbate-coated suspension (H-NcFO) prepared fish oil as core showed uniform rounded particles, nanometric size,...
