We confirmed bulk-superconductivity of a ferromagnet UGe2 by the specific heat measurement, together with measurements electrical resistivity and ac susceptibility, in pressure range from p = 1.0 to 1.5 GPa, where Curie temperature TC( 22-36 K) is still high, but another characteristic T* close zero. In this range, heavy fermion state found be formed at low temperatures.
The heat-capacity and magnetization measurements under high pressure have been carried out in a ferromagnetic superconductor ${\mathrm{UGe}}_{2}.$ Both were done using same cell order to obtain both data for one pressure. Contrary the heat capacity at ambient pressure, an anomaly is found characteristic temperature ${T}^{*}$ where shows anomalous enhancement superconductivity appears. This suggests that thermodynamic phase transition takes place least slightly below ${P}_{c}^{*}$ becomes...
The alternating one-dimensional Heisenberg $S\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}1/2$ chain compound with spin gap, $(\mathrm{VO}{)}_{2}{\mathrm{P}}_{2}{\mathrm{O}}_{7}$, has been studied by the high-field magnetization and ${}^{31}\mathrm{P}$ NMR measurements. Two critical phenomena at $25\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1$ $46\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}2\mathrm{T}$ are observed in curve, which considered to be a crossover between ground state excited two kinds of gap systems....
Understanding the T-cell responses involved in inhibiting COVID-19 severity is crucial for developing new therapeutic and vaccine strategies. Here, we characterized SARS-CoV-2 spike-specific CD8+ T cells vaccinees longitudinally. The BNT162b2 mRNA can induce cross-reacting to BA.1, whereas receptor (TCR) repertoire usages decreased with time. Furthermore induced subpopulation expressing Granzyme A (GZMA), B (GZMB) Perforin simultaneously healthy donors at 4 weeks after second vaccination....
It is essential to employ efficient measures prevent the transmission of pathogenic agents during a pandemic. One such method involves using hypochlorous acid (HClO) solution. The oxidative properties HClO water (HAW) can contribute its ability eliminate viral particles. Here, we examined highly purified slightly acidic (Hp-SA-HAW) obtained from reverse osmosis membrane treatment an electrolytically-generated SA-HAW for anti-viral activity and mode action on proteins. Hp-SA-HAW exhibited...
Abstract Objectives This study aimed to compare the safety and efficacy of laser vaporization with 532 nm GreenLight High Performance System (HPS) 120 W (PVP) 980 diode 300 (CVP) for treatment benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in a prospective, single‐center, randomized clinical trial. Methods A total 153 consecutive patients symptomatic BPH were included; 79 treated PVP 74 CVP. Patients assessed preoperatively at 3, 6, 12 months postoperatively using International Prostate Symptom Score,...
A zero-temperature magnetic-to-nonmagnetic transition has been investigated in the heavy-fermion ferromagnet ${\mathrm{CeRu}}_{2}{\mathrm{Ge}}_{2}$ from electrical-resistance measurements at pressures up to 15 GPa and temperatures down 60 mK. We found that phase boundary exists around ${P}_{c}\ensuremath{\sim}10 \mathrm{GPa}$. The resistivity shows quadratic temperature variation expected for conventional Fermi liquid low near ${P}_{c}.$ In present pressure range, neither metamagnetic nor...
High-pressure cells which can be used in experiments at low temperatures and high magnetic fields are considered. New constructions of piston-cylinder, diamond anvil other presented. The recent development a technique for resistance measurements the megabar region above 150 GPa For first time electrical DAC with typical anvils were performed sample diameter 20 μm. metallization sulfur 100 GPa, CsI 120 was achieved. Simultaneously, Raman spectra studied up to GPa.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, infection has been spreading to date. The rate false-negative result on a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test considered gold standard is roughly 20%. Therefore, its accuracy poses question as well needs improvement in test. This study reports fabrication substrate an anti-spike protein (AS)-immobilized porous material having selective adsorption toward spike protruding from surface SARS-CoV-2. We have employed organic polymer called spongy...
We have studied the effect of pressure on electrical resistivity antiferromagnet CeMg2Cu9 which crystallizes in hexagonal structure. The structure is built up alternating MgCu2 Laves-type and CeCu5-type layers along [0001] direction. Néel temperature TN = 2.7 K at ambient decreases with increasing p disappears a critical pc≃2.5 GPa. Correspondingly, residual ρ0 coefficient A Fermi-liquid relation ρ + AT2 are found to maximum values around pc.
We have measured the electrical resistivity under pressure up to 2 GPa for an antiferromagnet, CeRhGe. The at ambient decreases monotonically below a Néel temperature TN = 10 K. With increasing P, has peak around K, which is anomalously enhanced 1.2 GPa. further pressure, diminished; becomes zero critical Pc 1.9 A-value of ρ in Fermi liquid relation ρ0 + AT2 also found increase with and maximum corresponds value heavy-fermion superconductor CeCu2Si2.
We have investigated physical properties of the valence fluctuating compound YbInCu 4 at high pressures and low temperatures. The first-order transition temperature T V ~ 42 K ambient pressure is completely suppressed for above 2.49 GPa. Present electrical resistivity data in pressure-stabilized high-temperature (HT) phase exhibit successive shoulders around 20 2.4 K. former can reasonably be compared with Kondo 25 estimated from static-susceptibility pressure. For 2.27 GPa,...
Abstract Understanding the T-cell responses involved in inhibiting COVID-19 severity is crucial for developing new therapeutic and vaccine strategies. Here, we characterized SARS-CoV-2 spike-specific CD8+ T cells interacting with overlapping peptides on peripheral blood mononuclear from acute-phase patients. Relative to severe COVID-19, patients mild had more frequent antigen-specific cells, significantly increased simultaneously expressing granzyme A, B, perforin, suggesting that inducing...
