Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of temporary ICUs have been established worldwide. The outcomes and management mechanically ventilated patients in these areas remain unknown.
Tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) occurs frequently during induction therapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Patients are categorized into intermediate- or high-risk based on the lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) value and white blood cell (WBC) count, according to an expert panel, although no effort has been made analyze TLS in ALL its potential consequences.
