A quantum limit on the measurement of magnetic fields has been recently pointed out, stating that so-called energy resolution ${E}_{\mathrm{R}}$ is bounded to ${E}_{\mathrm{R}}\ensuremath{\gtrsim}\ensuremath{\hbar}$.
