A 36-year-old man underwent endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) at a local hospital for chronic pancreatitis, after which the broken end of guidewire remained in pancreatic duct. The patient had intermittent postoperative abdominal discomfort and was referred to our hospital.
