Few studies has investigated the interrelationship between Atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) and coronary heart disease (CHD) especially in Asians. AIP is logarithmically transformed ratio triglyceride (TG) to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), thought be associated with arteriosclerosis, hypertension, diabetes cardiovascular diseases. Of 463 patients from Central Hospital Nanchong 2011-2014 diagnosed angiograms, 229 CHD (>50% stenosis one or more arteries) rest 234 were controls...

Hyperperfusion (HP) is a devastating complication associated with carotid artery stenting (CAS) or endarterectomy. The efficacy and safety of staged angioplasty (SAP) in patients CAS at high risk HP remains unclear. We sought to determine whether SAP superior regular HP. A randomised, multicentre open-label clinical trial blinded outcome assessment (STEP) was conducted. Patients severe stenosis were randomly assigned (1:1) the group. primary endpoint hyperperfusion syndrome (HPS)...

This paper presents an approach to enhance speech feature estimation in the log spectral domain under additive noise environments. A switching linear dynamic model (SLDM) is explored as a parametric for clean distribution, enforcing state transition space and capturing smooth time evolution of conditioned on sequence. Experimental results using Aurora2 database show that new SLDM can improve enhancement performance terms recognition accuracy.

This paper presents an approach to enhance speech feature estimation in the log spectral domain under noisy environments. A higher-order switching linear dynamic model (SLDM) is explored as a parametric for clean distribution, which enforces state transition space and captures smooth time evolution of conditioned on sequence. The components are estimated by means Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) algorithm. Our experimental results show that increasing order SLDM introduction probabilities...
